Anyone got insights on ranking path for Evy yet?

While magic mastery seems like a must at first it gives a crappy 500 total magical dmg at top rank. Quite costly on the AP too. Kinda like defense mastery for Fiona, counter intuitive.
Fire and arrow. I suppose no use for scythe users?
Then there's stamina recovery, which I suspect useless for a scythe user too?
Hell, Im not even sure if Evys roll with cloth or light armor. I just reach lv18 in game and surprise to me her weight is REALLY LOW. I couldnt put 2 pieces of wind crust on her. I have light armor at rank D.
That means she should roll with cloth?
I dont mind looking cute and avoiding hits but doesn't light armors give much better stats for melee?

ATM Im actually ranking her combat mastery and magic crit.
Can anyone make a guide on her already? especially those who have played the Korean version.
I do spend much time planning and it has done me good and bad in life :O

Don't forget that later on you get the weight reduction, so in time you should be able to wear light armor. Also, there is a guide for ranking Evy (sorta, especially the Scythe ones). There's a discussion on it in the Magician's Quarrel thread, which is in the guide section.

No comment on magic mastery since I'm not sure if it counts for scythe magic attacks. But if you're using a staff, then get it to max. That 500 boost will apply to every magic arrow you shoot.

What do you mean "too"? That suggests you think it's useless for Staff Evie's as well as Scythe. Combat Respiration is THE most important skill. No matter what character or what weapon you use.

It does, but Cloth Armor gives much better INT, which is what you want, even if you play with a scythe. Scythe Evie will still do the majority of her damage from magic attack.

The scythes have attack & magic attack on them so magic mastery and crit are both good to level. Magic mastery gives you base m.att so it's permanent like any other stat mastery skill. I'm just wondering if critical hit and smash mastery would be helpful also because I lvled those up in mabinogi heroes lol.

Evie doesn't get combat respiration, he's talking about the stamina recovery skill you start with that recovers stamina and takes away firebolt cooldown. It's pretty much useless to rank up besides ranking it to get magic mastery because you can't use it when you have a scythe.

Oh right, that skill. I keep calling it Mana Breath for some reason, so I never know when people are talking about it. It's a useful skill for Scythes. Just because they can't abuse Firebolt doesn't mean it's not an insta-stamina bar. It's not as useful as it is for staves though, because they don't spam bolts and their magic attacks come at the end of melee attacks so you'll have time to regenerate stamina on your own.

I'm rather sure Evie can use Combat Respiration.

Combat Respiration skill book specifies Lann and Fiona only. The skill book is not even available for purchase when using Evie at the mercenary outpost.

Scythe evie pretty much would have focus on passive skills right now. Considering she does a mix of physical and magic damage you will want to invest in Smash Mastery and Critical as well. Strength Mastery is helpful as well to Evie so in reality I think Evie as Scythe has more to invest with then you might think.

Stamina mastery for Scythe evie isn't as important, but it still can be useful in the end. Don't count it out just cause you won't be using as much, its still a useful to get.

Puru, do end combo magic smashes have cooldowns? if not I really dont see any point in ranking stamina recovery at this point.
I actually maxed my combat mast and now going for magic crit
will do crit hits and smash mastery next.
just making sure Im headed to the right track.

You don't need to rank it at all. It's only practical for Firebolt spamming.

520 AP for a 45 sec cooldown. No thanks

only fireball and some healing skills release, a little boring after playing a while. Only when scythes release, Evie will be big different.

1. Got Magic Arrow, Firebolt and Eagle Talon to rE first, since it gives a substantial increase for only 30 AP each.
2. Got Cloth Armor to rD in order to equip Sweetie Bear and Broken Ash later on.
3. Got Stamina Restoration, Combat Mastery and WIL Mastery to rD in order to unlock other skills.
4. Got Smash Mastery, Critical Hit, STR/AGI/INT Mastery, Standing Endurance and Life Flare to rE.
5. Dumped points into Magic Mastery and Magic Critical, since they're useful right now and would continue to be useful later on.

exactly what I did, but now the question is after you do all of that what next? I'm contemplating going for smash mastery next to R C+, and then I'll be 34 so I can start working on weight mastery. Hopefully they will release scythes by the time I get to 38 lol.
