Refinig sucks....

  I have base 99 dex and I have rank 4 refining.
  
  Is there an cheap/efficent way of lowering my dex without doing stuff like burning for the Scarecrow enchant and stuff like that >.<

  Um scare crow is easy to burn enchant and get... wait till it rains in dunby then hit the scarecrows with pet (if you have one) or by your self I got 10 in like 2 mins and failed 4 out of 10 or something like that

  If I remember correctly, the one who experienced death title gives - 30 dex. Then I suggest just making a scarecrow set.. It really isn't that hard or costly :) It will also be worth it in the long run for you.

  Dunno, that makes refine's 36 dex and 53 AP look pretty nice to me.

  any melee human that trains support shot for dex is a retard. refining is far less soulcrushing, stop being lazy.

  once you get past, oh, rC or so, you'll see for yourself how much easier refining is and maybe you'll actually go do it.

  Honestly, I really doubt you're going to stick to melee forever and one day, you'll want to do some range too. Then it'll be insane to do refining with 200+ base dex.
  
  At least, I've never seen a really high-leveled human who doesn't have all areas balanced out even if they choose to stick with one type of combat (mostly alchemy now from what I've seen actually).

  Refining is like the fundamental of range. . .even if you don't need a lot of dex, it's better to get this done before you end up switching to range later in the game and not being able to finish it.

  I was thinking of doing it.. but Low inventory and low level... not to mention I don't see any real point in doing it... since Throw's dmg is based on STR.
  And they don't really have any skills where DEX increases damage.

  Giants do need to refine if they want to dual wield 0% balance Warhammers, which are just about the sexiest melee weapons ever.
