  They're dropping because everyone's getting poorer, people want to trade in items only, and not enough gold circulates even for tiny things like that. People who CAN buy the expensive dyes are interested in other things, or rare, gacha-only dyes. :/

  The highest donation in Pontiff's court or something was like, 7mil. That's to an NPC. People aren't getting poorer, I assure you.
  
  More people are selling dyes and that's why their prices are dropping. Not enough people want them so the sellers drop their prices to get them sold. Same could be said for Dragon Blades. I remember when they were worth at least 1mil and only a few people had them. There's lots of them on the market available now and everyone wants to sell their Dblade so they drop the prices to get them sold. I even saw a red/black 10/10 dura 84 prof Dblade going for 80k the other day.

  There are 3 forces at work here guys. First off 20k during G2 was alot more money than 20k now. There are many more ways to make money now. In fact factored for relative inflation 60-80k Dyes are probrably as cheap as 20k was back then.
  
  2nd is the number of players.
  Back during g2 you could run through dunbarten with no lag on a substandard computer. And in off channels you could have a campfire in the square and only see 4-5 people every 30 mins. So since the amount of players was low the amount of gold on server was very low. Making 20k alot more money for trading.
  
  3rd of course is the supply. When adv play first came out you could find dyes as cheap as 10k now of course we have no adv play and the supply has taken a hit. Generally of course Dye prices are usually around tha same price as buying 10kNX/10 (+100-200k for risk) on your server from another player.
  
  So 140k maybe a little overpriced depending on demand but 80k is not due to inflationary trends.

  What! Whoa, that's so cheap. Black fixed dyes are like 500k-600k on Mari. Still. Sometimes I see 400k, but it's not often. I remember when they were 100k, but that was back before G3 was even out.
  
  @Crimmy Yeah, Rykia seems to be insanely rich. I saw him a couple times bidding high digits in auctions as well.

  150K dyes made me cringe. 200K made me laugh. It's nice to see them going down again, regardless of what's at work. It makes my raft grinding more worth while when I can get a little more for my work. Hopefully I'll make a really nice chunk of gold during my month of winter break.
  
  I'm also not saying there aren't rich people around. I mean that a good chunk of the population (enough that people notice) have nice things, but don't have gold anymore, and instead of buying, they try to trade stuff they don't want for stuff they do want. The rich are probably so rich they already have what others are trying to sell, or they just don't give two farts about whatever the item is.

  in tarlach flashy red whites were down to as far as ... i saw.. 400k... their now back up and around 600k - 1.5 mil. flashy blacks are around 600k - 900k
  
  randoms around 80-85k
  fixed to.. well ... 200-300k for nice colours (light blue, flourescent green) etc..
  varies may change... but these are lowest ive seen so far.. in the past 3-4 weeks
  
  fixed black - roughly 500-800k
  fixed white - roughly 400-600k
  
  depending on sellers
  
  good reds.. like the blood red..
  i have no clue possible still as high as 800k or maybe they dropped
