  Well I was trying to get done a mission for a quest but needed a party for BP and this girl comes in and lags the whole party. Every single one of us froze on the boat for a good 15 seconds. I was like "oh god were frozen on the boat. WERE ALL SCREWED!" Which we were, we started the dungeon and frozen yet again right at spawn. x_________x Turns out the big lagger is from Cali playing on the East server. West connecting ----------------------------------------------------------------------> East is !%!#!%q@#!@# HORRIBLE I asked her why she didn't play in West...... well I don't like this response: "I wasn't paying attention when I picked servers" *aims gun at head and holds trigger* Seriously!? Why doesn't she go make a freaking char on West she's only lvl 23 she can get that in 2-3 days. T___T
  
  
  Now on to the damned canadians. I was in a parteh of 4 running Brynn's Research and the host is Canadian (and must live in the middle of freaking nowhere). Me and another Evie were frozen about 85% of the dungeon run, and the other guy was frozen about 50% of the time but he still helped the host kill. Since the lag was tremendously bad I asked where the host was from and he said Canda (yay! :gloom: ) I asked if he lived on the west or east side, and he didn't know...... He couldn't even guess as to which side he was on. Like seriously.......

  Seriously? Learn your freaking geography people, and make smart decisions! 2 of my biggest pet peeves in one night FML FML FML FML FML!!!!! Usually I'm lenient on lag cause my connection ain't great itself on this comp. but this....this was just waaaaaaaaaaayyyyy too much

  I party with my friend from Canada and his internet and latency is often better then mine D:
  
  @OP that sucks. :x I haven't had that bad of an experience yet... I get 2 bars and I'm good to go..

  I hate parties where the person just has bad internet, but more often than not, they know how bad their connection is and usually apologize throughout the run xD

  Not really I'm in Canada East coast and i can host better than most people. See here's the thing, I don't mind joining other people's parties if they're any good at hosting but turns out pretty much all of them suck at hosting, especially polar bear runs.
  
  Edit: This game is messed up though. They really could use some dedicated servers. You know something is wrong when most people are lucky to get 2 bars when everyone gets 5 bars in korea.

  When NX servers are restarted and i play on WEST from east coast, i can host raids with zero lag. It is just once 2 days pass, the servers crap up and everyone is almost always 1 bar.
