When did you get this? This has been the same since they implemented G13. Hmm Blaze has its own formula, it's not like other magic, the only way to boost its damage is to get high Int (capped at 600, ugh). I'm just uncertain if nerf will be of 30%, 20%, 25%, etc. could somebody clarify please?

I play NA Mabi, but have been doing my research because I am to fearful for the future of blaze and magic in general.
In G13 Blaze's base damage is lowered by 25%
That is what the wiki says and according to some of my guildies who also play on the korean server. This damage is currently impossible to get back. To see how much it affected blaze you can see these videos

I am fearful as well! I don't want G13 yet... Did you notice? Damage seems like a r5 Blaze, maybe r4. Normally it would hit 1800-2000. Oh and I see what your friend did there with his pets. Very smart... I'll try it ASAP. Hey you should join the magicians group I created, it's called "Mana mana mana", hehe.

Yes, i am worried a little because i am still process of ranking fireball and ice spear, and i need to start saving for the masteries and hailstorm. Doing the 3 week rb i know that i probably won't have enough ap ready by time g13 comes out (Probably late December-early February). Also the damage does seem ranks apart when you compare the two videos. I'm interested to see if nexon will notice this and attempt to change it back, because honestly melee has WM, range has Crash shot, and alchemy has golem. Mages deserve a awesome, fast charging move as well >.> I guess i'll just have to see how this plays out. Oh, and yes using pets are very helpful. I'm not as good as it as the person in the vid, but i occasionally can pull it off for high damage. Oh, and its a her o3o

Perhaps they'll change these things as time goes along.
They are adding Bow Masteries soon too. And I believe that Throwing Attack needs that cooldown taken away.
We just gotta be patient, it seems.

@Tatsigi I am also as fearful as you are, and I have all my magic tab (except enchant which is stuck on rank C ... :C) Maxed out.
However, I'll need about 1.2k AP saved in order to master all passive magic (bolt mastery, fire mastery etcetc...) and hailstorm combined D:
I almost have enough AP saved to get all my passive magics to rank 1, but I wont have enough for Hailstorm :C

I don't see why change? 3-4k damage for 15~20 mp in 2 secs seems efficient enough. This is 1v1 though... Also, since Blaze is linear and splash damage doesn't cause knockdown (much like Crash Shot), it works better in solo situations, right? And why Fireball over Hailstorm or Thunder?

Fireball becuse the range of the explosion. Think of shadow missions like lingering darkness. You can charge a fireball and launch it from 2000 range, and 1 hit the mobs (or close) before anything aggros you at all. Slower than the old blaze model but still works.

Cause of Fire Mastery and range
r1/1 Fireball can deal up to 5k(critical)dmg in SM hard modes
All of the elemental materies and magic dmg raise your magic's dmg by %.
Out of all other spells, fireball gets the best from it.
r1 Hailstorm is better in DPM, but only in 1:1 situations
