You can have someone ticket you onto the boat via housing or just by having them board the boat when you're on their mount. ;o Summon capsules migbt work as well.

Haha yeah a friend had the same problem. Even if you don't fish regularly though, it's always nice to have it. Should try to get it just in case for the long run in case you want to spam free ego food or synth items.
That said, most if not all of the above methods should work. =3
