What 1h ego weapon should I choose.

Ok, I've went through MANY egos because I've wanted to try them to see if I liked them. I currently have an LLB and I know that I want a 1h ego now. With a good secondary sword, 1h egos out damage 2h egos. I don't know which to choose, I would like a murmasa but I don't know if sacrificing a little bit of damage or crit is really worth the trouble of getting one. I don't know if i should get a bast sword because of its low crit compared to glad an muramasa. I don't know if I should get gladius because out of the 3, it has the lowest max damage. I don't know what to decide, help me choose?

Well, I guess since muramasa is extremely hard to obtain, i should get a gladius ego. The sad thing is I used to have a gladius ego, but got rid of it to try other egos, now here I am.....making it my final ego. Maybe

Unless you have high dex and a lot of money just get a nice colored gladius. If your dex is great but your funds are lower get a bastard sword. If you can afford one and either plan to NX repair only or are insanely rich you can think about a muramasa which is my personal pick out of the 3. If you are not rich don't even put it on your list of options.

Then again, 1h egos shine on Windmill damage (2h egos have superior Smash damage). With Windmill you don't need crit.
Also when paired with a good offhand weapon, the crit bonus gets chopped a bit while the damage boost stays fully in-tact.

For example ...
47 Crit Ego + 40 Crit Broadsword = 43.5 Crit
19 Crit Ego + 40 Crit Broadsword = 29.5 Crit
Egos differ by 28 Crit, but due to the offhand they're only 14 Crit apart.

If I had to pick a 1h weapon (I still prefer 2h) then I'd pick Dark Blue Bastard Sword over a Neon Blue Gladius in a heartbeat.
