Since I'm going broke from buying too many ores and I need money soon, I was planning on selling my -CP equips, like Abysmal shield.
My question is that, would I need them in the future? I already have R1 WM so.... do I need them anymore? My current CP is 9xx
I plan on keeping my -CP gloves and boots for now
So do I need them anymore? :S
Thanks

You might need them for future skills... other than that you probably won't want them unless you care about getting EXP and proffing your weapons with weaker monsters =p

I'd keep the shield.
Windmill isn't the only thing that is easily affected by CP.
If you need money, try something else, since that Abysmal shield will still be useful.
If you have time, try getting all your ores yourself.
It could save money so you wouldn't need to sell stuff.
I'm assuming you're getting ores for... Refining?
Maybe sell the ingots if you don't need them.
Or farm, xD.
Like make an alt on your account operate a farm, and take breaks from Mining/Metallurgy/Refining/Something and log on them to do a farm action.
Oh, but those are just tips.
Just to answer the main question, an Abysmal Shield is far too handy to sell, unless you have another one.
So, I would keep it.
-CP equips don't stop being useful until... well, until you've mastered a lot of skills.

You mean they are the most useful when you mastered a lot of skills.
Takes a while to train a low rank skill on a monster with mass hp and prot :x (I had to do it with Blaze)
I suggest keep it. It will make lots of skills easier to rank.

If you plan on raising Alchemy Mastery anytime soon, you'll regret selling the Abysmal :p

Yes.
I currently have 1.2k-1.3k CP and I find that -1000 isn't enough. (because I'm training skills where doing zombies is really slow)

You could let me borrow the shield for 660 boss kills while you think about it..

You're going to regret selling strong -CP items, because of how hard they were to come up with. Unless you can easily obtained the same -CP modifier when another CP skill comes up (and there's going to be quite a few of them).
Friend of mine sold Raccoon Cub. She regretted it when she decided to rank up Alchemy Mastery for her Golems.

Getting ores yourself for refining is just too much for me o_x /lazy
I'm the type of person that buys her way out >w>
But is there a skill other than WM, that you need low CP? I know that abysmal will make everything easier when it comes to training skills, but do I really need it?

I don't think I'm gonna raise anything that has to do with Alchemy anytime soon e_e

Sorry sweetie, but I don't know you well enough to lend you my stuff

Like I said above, I'm not gonna touch Alchemy anytime soon :l

If you're going to do magic, you should keep it. It's not NECESSARY but it would make your life a whole lot easier.
Seriously though...abysmal pots are easy to make and they're so cheap now compared to before that maybe you should just sell yours now and make a new one (or buy a new one) when you need it in the future.

No, don't ever sell -CP equips. Get your money from elsewhere.

Things that affect cp: Final hit, Range, Arrow Revolver, Combat Mastery, All Magic Skills I would post others but wiki is down. OH and Crash shot and support shot.

I would keep it because it'll come in handy like the others have said.
Or let me use it ;)

To expound on this a bit. Skills affected a little by CP (-CP helps, but it's not super important):
Most range/magic skills
Magic Mastery
Frozen Blast*
Life Drain
Flame Burst
Water Cannon
Wind Blast
Shock
Heat Buster
Combat Mastery
*Only really matters at the first few ranks, I was able to freeze similar-level mobs for rank D without -CP and I've got 1.6k+
Skills that are REALLY influenced by CP (good luck ranking these later on without a bunch of -CP gear):
Windmill
Final Hit
Blaze*
Taming**
Alchemy Mastery
*I haven't actually started using Blaze yet, so I'm not sure how easily it can be ranked with really high CP
**This skill I ranked back before the success rates got buffed, not sure how difficult it is now (it was REALLY hard before)
Range and magic skills aren't terribly hard because you can fairly easily train them on zombies. If you've got high-ish CP, go to Their Method advance/hard, the zombies there have 2.7/3.6k CP respectively. Kill 'em with melee if you need finishes. If your CP's over 1.2k though...Other Alchemists hard is a great place for boss kills. Just do the first room over and over, easy enough to avoid messy multiaggro.
Also, not entirely relevant but -CP's even more useful if you wanna get master titles.
