Its your reputation bar.
When you make an awesome post, people give you rep for it. Your bar increases when you get lots of reps.
Its a way for people to stroke their e peen, but I'll take advantage of that ability. :D

Yeah, it's rep.
People can rep you and when you get enough you get another bar.
Just so you know, it takes 1k+ to get where Cucurbita is.
