Kay; so know that elemental cylinders are some odd % + each element; however the 4 newer Cylinders; Volcano; Tidal Wave etc etc. Whats their %'s on Damage; and do they rely on upgrades from the other cylinders; or new ones of their own.

They rely on newer upgrades.
And here ya go.
Quote from Yoorah:
New weapons: Advanced elemental alchemy cylinders
Tidalwave Cylinder
Volcano Cylinder
Hurricane Cylinder
Earthquake Cylinder
Alchemy damage enhancement
These cylinders act similar to our current Water, Fire, Wind and Earth Cylinders, but double the elemental damage amplification effect of current cylinders:
Tidalwave Cylinder: +30% water alchemy damage.
Volcano Cylinder: +30% fire alchemy damage.
Hurricane Cylinder: +36% wind alchemy damage.
Earthquake Cylinder: +18% earth alchemy damage.
Basic elemental Cylinder damage amplification for comparison:
Water Cylinder: +15% water alchemy damage.
Fire Cylinder: +15% fire alchemy damage.
Wind Cylinder: +18% wind alchemy damage.
Earth Cylinder: +9% earth alchemy damage.
S/R Upgradeable
The new advanced elemental cylinders can be S/R upgraded. Basic elemental cylinders do not support this upgrade. Artisan upgrade is not supported.
Needed more info
Better standard upgrades? Costs? How to obtain?
Not a bad boost for Alchemy users, I'd say. Does the damage amplification from cylinders directly translate into Golem damage output, does anyone know? An extra 9% on Snow Golem's 6k crit Smash wouldn't be bad to have, if it does work that way. xP

Im thinking you could almost do 1.5-2x the Damage if you were to use Heat Buster with that; Elemental masteries and etc.
Thanks.

If the bonuses are greater, does it means the downside is greater (Like using flame burst with a water cylinder)?

I think I remember reading that somewhere, so yes.

I'm more interested in knowing "What do they mean by splash damage"
Splash:
Radius 100
Angle 15
Damage 35%
Taken from the wiki page on tidalwave cylinder.
Does it mean that alchemy are gonna have a splash? WC + Splash = yes please?

Not for Alchemy, those stats are for the weapon itself. So when you punch with the weapon, every enemy within that 100 radius that's 15 degrees in front of you, 7.5% off center, will receive 35% of what ever damage the targeted enemy received.

Methods to obtain these Cylinders?

Think of it the same way why wands have splash. It doesn't mean Icebolt suddenly have splash from an Ice Wand, does it?

Yeah...well it'd have been nice to have splash on alchemy skill. Kinda pointless to put splash damage on cylinder imo.

O_O well at least there will be new cylinders...

I could spit out a terrible pun from that but I'll shut up.
And I approve of WC Splash. (Uses it like a madwoman)

Actually, yes D:
The damage penalty is doubled as well, so using Flame Burst with the Tidalwave Cylinder will result in -10% damage rather than the Water Cylinder's -5%.

Alchemy gets even more overpowered in G13.

It's not "kinda pointless to put splash damage on a cylinder imo". All weapons have Radius, Angle, and Splash % values. All of them.

I'm sorry for going little off topic.. But do anyone know how to get those cylinders?
