this was exactly what I was thinking too
and I had another ToS related thought (before reading this) that I don't know where to post on the forums

I was thinking a hp/stam regen spell that worked similar to demigods for about 40 seconds at r1 and 90 seconds with the master title. In a area about the size of r1 WM.

For a suitable 3rd tier healing spell, I would consider these things requisite:
-Healing Wand
-Effective outside of combat
That being the bare minimum. However, we have to regard that healing magic in Mabi doesn't fit the same role it does in other MMOs. It is impractical to use healing spells within combat because by the system of the game, most or all party members are expected to be engaged with at least one enemy in any given combat.
These would be ideal conditions for a third tier healing spell, but not required:
-Usable within combat (though requisite for it to have purpose outside of combat).
-Addendum: If engaged by an enemy, this spell will not allow a player to disengage/dispatch the opponent.
-Some purpose that makes the spell either comparable or better than Party Healing on base comparison (PH could still excel in some situations, naturally)
'Usable within combat' should mean that it is feasible to use during ordinary combat. Ergo, the cast time should ideally be less than 5 seconds.
One method to add onto a healing skill would be some kind of beneficial effect, such as:
-Removal of negative abnormal effects (poison, potion poisoning, petrify, etc.)
-Higher defense per cast than Healing, or the inclusion of a protection bonus.
-Temporary, if short-lived, buff, such as passive defenses, stat boosts, HP/SP/MP regen, etc.
-Restore SP as well as HP (not on self)
-Restore Wounds
-Etc.
This should help you with your brainstorming process. Enjoy.
