so, at the skill description it says "can inflict additional damage on the marked enemy and nearby monsters with the smash key"

I refuse to call it Mark of Death. Death Label to me (Since its my IGN xD).
I guess it referes to the aditional "labels" u get on later ranks.

You label monsters in an AoE, but the damage from the labels isn't AoE.

The AoE refers to when you drain, not when you release.

still, base on what the description says, it should be the damage that's AoE.... well, whatever, im fine by the way it is now, death mark is still frikkin awesome for meh:blood:

I think it just means the initial one you marked and those around it (which also got marked).
-
ionexx wrote on 2010-11-09 14:29
it does not marks just those around it, it marks only those same type of monster that stand around it ( so if we slam on vampire, only vampire got marked, despite of any monster that are nearby)
CMIIW
and about the hex... i dont know but i dont really feel the difference, i have the skill maxed out, but i think it have nothing to do with nerfing the smash damage, or maybe it's just me and my poor judging ability:what:

Theres no additional damage.

The Mark's description was translated poorly. It doesn't increase the damage of other smashes inflicted on a marked target, it only increases the damage of the mark itself when you activate it using smash. I went and tested it on a boss in normal mode, and with and without the hex, the boss took roughly the same damage from LLR.

so its decided then, MoD got nothing to do with increasing normal smashes damage over a marked monster~

Yeah, it means smash as in the snap finish which is triggered by your smash key.
