yea i know, i tried it once. But because of the hair i prefer to use this cherry-ish tint instead of pure dark red. Looks less awkward <:
Oh. Cherryish tints are actually easier to get. I often get 2 cherryish tints when trying to find 2 pure dark reds. x-x My dark red and white doesn't really go with my look anymore, but I don't have the heart to dye over the dark red because it was so hard to get. ;_;

ikr, that magician suit, i hate it for making me spend almost 750k in dying it just to find the bottom part looked bad in black. After wearing it for a while, now i think the mid would look better in black, but i just can't do it ;_;
sort of regret buying it >>

Aww. =( Well maybe you can sell it! Usually I use the character simulator first so I won't regret my color choice. The Karis kind of sucked as in, colors appeared darker on the sprite but not on the actual clothing, so when I dyed one part dark blue, it came out kinda...not as dark as I wanted. T-T
Anyways, a tip for people who want to save money: Yeah don't buy dyes. They burn through your cash like dynamite.

It's not that big of a deal for some people though. If I just grind for a couple hours or so, I can easily pay of a few dyes no problem. The thing is, it can be agrevating when you spend all that time and money and don't get the results you want.

Well, most of the time, I spend one mil or more just dying one clothing with 2/5 or 3/5 colors. =/ In fact, even a headgear or something can use up to 1 mil. So a few dresses/headgears later, bye bye 4-5 mil worth of dyes! Well, fashion in any game has always been expensive I guess.

actually, the black in the sim looks ok, ingame looks green-ish :/
and gotta agree with pk, asides these epic fails in dying. The cash to buy one dye or another is easily restocked.
I can buy roughly 2 dyes after i get out from a rundal siren dungeon, even more if i get one imp ES

I try not to fret over it too much. It's hard to get the same shade of dark purple over and over, so if I get close, I'll leave it at that, just because I can't afford any more.

most people use a program to select their normal dyes to be a specific color. thats how you see people running around with weird colors matching on all parts of their equip
if i just had to randomly dye it without knowing the pallette #s and all and eye my outfits down to see if they match~thatd suck for sure

I'm trying to avoid that, but maybe if I really had to. x.e
Nah..

There's gremlins in my Dye Amps... :what:
I noticed that i was getting colors that were not even in my 1-5 selection or not in that color slot...
I shrugged it off as my bad luck but then over a period of time it happened more and more and became a pattern...
So one day after failing 4 times, i spent another 500k on dyes and finally made some screen shots to confirm what i feared

That part flashes in the dye window to show where you're dyeing.
