  Here in our district of schools Veterans day just means we have an announcement by the principal. Otherwise we have class like usual. I do remember complaining about it back in highschool.
  
  Its more unusual that there are classes that get off for it. The day isn't really a holiday but rather a day to honor veterans.

  involving a sewage backup that flooded most of our tiny tiny school.
  As for this day, I'm just going to eat Pocky since I have no clue where to find Pepero where I live anyways.

  Of course Pocky has a better name for mainstream advertisement, and they played their exports properly.
  
  Its much rarer to run into Pepero outside of Korea.
  
  I'm just saying. They're both the same thing, theres no reason to make a biased decision if two of them are standing right next to each other, unless the price per amount is better on one end.

  xP in the korean store i go to, pocky and pepero stand right next to each other and the prices for them are the same.
