  During the Camp Cook Event, you will receive a quest to create The World’s Greatest Cuisine. “What is the world’s greatest cuisine?” you might ask. The Mana Herb Garlic Steak! Piece together the ingredients for this delicious food and experiment with the ratios of each. When you create a delectable steak, scarf it down! You’ll find that Life, Mana, and Stamina are increased by 20 each! You will only be able to create the Mana Herb Garlic Steak for the duration of the event.
  
  Furthermore, eating any food created by the Cooking Life Skill will increase combat EXP gain rate by 30 percent! Just like Thanksgiving, the Camp Cook Event is all about friends and family, so share! For each additional person you share food with, you will gain increased combat experience. With a party of eight or more, you will effectively have a double combat experience boost for 20 minutes!

  I didn't copy the table because I fail. :( Anyway, Cooking gets a bit of love this holiday, looks like. Too bad it's not overlapping with the Double Rainbow Event, huh? XD

  Actually, a lot of people train cooking. Also, if it's a less-trained skill, of course Nexon would want to get people interested in it, so what you said makes like, no sense whatsoever, lol.

  Because it doesn't require "training"
  You finish the cooking reqs in like an hour per rank and then you're done.

  Well I trained cooking to 9 so I could feed monkeys. XD It's just not really a hard or worthy skill, which is why no one mentions it.

  I train it too. Seriously, food bonuses are really underrated. Especially easy foods that give a ton of stats.

  Many people tend to train it for either +dex, feeding monkeys, or want some bonuses from food. It doesn't take very long to train, so you won't hear much people talking about training it.
