Episode 6 of season 2 was probably the best of the season. It was amazingly well-handled and paced. The ending of the Chihiro arc in episode 7 certainly was brought to life better than it was in the manga, but ep 7 as a whole felt obviously padded in a lot of places, whereas in ep 6 any extra scenes not found in the manga actually felt like they were seamlessly woven in. Ep 7 kind of felt disappointing given the amazing escalation and tension established in episode 6.

As of now, I'm at chapter 129 and still have 15 to go before I'm up to date, so I could be wrong, but my predictions for the goddesses are as follows:
Yui = Minerva. Hands down. The goddess of wisdom is a perfect candidate for flipping the script on Keima's advances. Most say she's Minerva because of the goddess's attachment to music, but I believe wisdom is what Minerva is most known for. And the way Keima's lost in just about every battle of the minds against her has further fortified my point. If Yui is not Minerva, then it is my belief that her boyish appearance and aggressive pursuit might befit Mars. But Minerva is my strongest guess.
Ayumi = Mercury. Known for speed. The quickest to run regarding direct conflict with Keima, whether running away, or running through. Nuff said.
Shiori = Vulcan. Known for the forge (forge = weapons = ways to kill (Keima... in novel)) and the volcano (built up rage that explodes often without warning but always after constant agitation). The quiet timid girl also shares many other parallels with Vulcan (his renowned craftiness versus her amazing recollection of books; his deformity versus her timidity; etc.).
Tsukiyo = Mars. Only by process of elimination. I'm going to say that Chihiro's responses haven't been nearly as telling as the other girls, so sadly for her, she still is doomed to be the normal one. Her wrath might be Mars-level, though. But still, Tsukiyo as Mars rather than Chihiro as Mars is the way I'm going.
Then again, it's possible I could be wrong and that creeping theory in my head about Miyako being Minerva would throw everything out of whack. And yes, I've been considering that Miyako could be a huge wrench in Keima's and my theory particularly because she's the only girl around that has no indication of a runaway spirit but still got a name and lots of screen time. More than just being in the same band should allow.
Edit: On second thought, I'm gonna swap out Tsukiyo for Chihiro. Why? It had been bothering me for awhile, but the goddess name Diana always resonated with me regarding the moon, and now I remember that's exactly correct. Tsukiyo's a dead end trap. She could only have been a goddess if Diana weren't already taken. Also, Keima's theory about closeness makes Chihiro a better candidate than her. So, Chihiro is Mars.

A wonderful thing to hear, I suppose. Wonder how far they'll be going into it this time?

Necro bump for season 3.
Episode 1 is out and it skips quite a bit so non-manga readers might be lost.
New opening is amazing.

Yeah, it just briefly introduces all those conquests and goes straight into the goddess arc.
However, I'm just guessing here, but we'll probably see some more of those conquests a bit later on, at least for two of them.
And the opening is in the same style as the first two, so it's still nice. I'll have to listen to it a bit more.
