If youre not good enough to see past any satirical comments, and actually SEE the help they give, thats your problem.

Thanks to the people who gave useful non-elitist comments. The testimonials and personal trials were more so what I was interested in reading over than the damage equation percentile chart and opinions as to why I fail at my class. : )
<3 Mabination forums. So much more useful than nexon forums, although it seems some of their trolls are starting to leak over here due to all the mabination links on the official forums :(
Even though I love comments on anti-nexon forums, I think you should review what a troll is. A quick tip is for me to say, "Your post is trolling people on Nexon Forums".
Quote from PApalapagus;216805:
Those elites are probably the ones you should be taking your advice from. Act like you hate them on the outside, but pray that they answer your threads on the inside.
Tho I dont see why youre moaning about receiving damage percentiles when one of your queries was specifically about its damage.
It's better not to talk back to people who may/may not be trolling a group of people. In other words, keep your mouth shut.
Quote from SadPanda;217279:
MrPapa please go back to nexon forums, I purposely didn't post there to avoid your trolling. I come here for information, not for people to try and throw their internet ego into every sentence. If only there was a way to put users on block.
He's more than welcome here, as I stated, please learn what "trolling" is. I read each of his posts, and none of them were anything but help until you started with your above comment.

Now, please stay on topic and refrain from bashing each other into the ground.
OT:
So... since I'm a staff Evie, should I rank ET? ;o

To get back on topic. It's fun to watch an r9 Eagle Talon being used <_< You can provide for some fun antics against the enemies that way, like I remember one time I kicked a mob to nudge it into the Magic Fire Mine! Good stuff =P
As I said before, however, I'd rather use LLR over the mine itself since it costs less stamina than the mine itself

Im used to it. I have a habit of hidding insults within helpful posts.
Anyhoo, BYTE! Magic Mines are actually a staple for any Staff build. Almost a necessity. Your room clearing abilities will be multiplied just by having it. Take my own Staff Evie for example, with 5400 MATT, I simply rush in, and kill 2-3 of the highest HP mobs in the room. Yes, the ones that would normally EMPTY my stamina bar. Its got fairly good damage, and it CRITS.
I probably wouldnt play Staff again without it.

Pardon my lack of patience with that user, he's been nothing but sarcastic, annoying, and insulting in every prior post I've made on Nexon forums. Yes he is more than welcome on the mabination forums, my request was simply for him to stop posting in every thread of mine repeating his stance of how bad of a player I must be to need any defense or not make an evie exactly to his liking.

Anyhow, back on topic.
I think Staff could benefit on r9 talon simply to allow more easier openings for dropping FBs. I will eventually level this skill but I am prioritizing passives for now due to the feedback on stamina consumption of the skill being pretty high. As fun as it seemed watching people drop mines and blowing things farther than Fionas seemed to, I figure it should take a back seat for me, for now at least.
I'd level it for knocking down bosses since I mostly solo though, would make it more fun than simply priming up LLLR whiffing the normal attacks most of the time.

Aww. :l That was the famous thread where I deduced the upswing and downswing properties of Evies. As well as many other things, including great Tyrant videos.
Keep it to yourself please
Anyhoo, forgot to mention that for Tyrant AP speed runs, MM also helps Scythes/Staves 1hko the Warrior Kobolds at the start. Helpful if you dont have experienced Spears taking care of that room.

I've found the Bomb to be quite effective in Red Tyrant runs. It seems that it makes him (usually) one ice chunk or spear away from knockdown. I was doing some farming and by the end most were trying to kite him towards my bombs while I healed

I also found a nifty trick to improve the skill. While charging, begin using normal attack (So as soon as you hold down smash, start normal attacking), the skill will continue to charge and launch with no delays (Though you still have a delay after the attack). Now for scythe, this would do extra dmg, for staff, this would reduce the stam used to make bombs. I was attempting to do what a Staff Evie paladin was doing, she was able to do a normal eagle talon and right after launch a mine.
The knockdown rate is far better than a lot of fast moves so it does have its uses.
EDIT: Oh actually I found out how to do both the normal eagle talon plus the mine, though this practically uses half your stam bar and probably isn't that practical unless it's for knocking down stuff. Basically, you tap as soon as she begins the eagle talon charging than quickly press and hold the smash button. You should shortly do the normal eagle talon while charging the mine. Once the mine is charged, it'll immediately launch the mine too.
I guess I'll test to see if it's considered practical but normal attack probably is a lot more effective.

Either this is a glitch, or is just plain in the game, but:
1. Charge Eagle Talon
2. start normal attacking
3. Land a smash, and hold down R after the smashing R
4. Boom.
Its a good trick for a bit of extra damage.

What smash is that? When I tried doing that, I can only do 2 normal attacks tops. And I absolutely cannot to an eagle talon after a smash.

sircusa, do you have your LB+RB = Smash turned on? Cause if you do, it won't work. You also have to hold down the smash button while you do the normal attacks. So basically it's run, hold down smash and then spam attack while you're still holding down the smash.
