Recently it was made known during the “Hatsune Miku: Meet the Makers of a Digital Idol†panel over at New York Comic Con/New York Anime Festival 2010 with regards to the future plans for Miku and the rest of Crypton Vocaloids in the US according to the co-creators of Vocaloid, Hiroyuki Ito and Wataru Sasaki. The information have been summarized and listed out in point form below for everyone’s convenience.

Kagamine Appends scheduled to be released in December 2010.
Possibility of a Vocaloid shop opening in the US should there be enough demand for it.
Plans for a English Miku to be materialized provided her Facebook has more than 39,390 likes.
(39 could be pronounced as “Miku†or “Sankyu†in Japanese, which means “Thank You†in English)
So for all the Vocaloid and Miku fans out there this is a great chance to make yourself be heard to the Crypton officials and Saki Fujita (Hatsune Miku’s VA). At least 39,390 likes are required on Facebook to make the plan into a reality and there’s already over 13,800 likes as of this article so get your Facebook accounts and support the move if you like the plans of a English Miku. ^_^

Ohmai. English as in the interface, right? I'm scared about what would happen if they mean the Vocaloids will sing IN English. There are problems with getting a computer to speak English. Japanese is so much simpler phonetically.

Links go to same place.
Their gonna have to have to upgrade her voice, get a good voice actor, and really know what their doing to make Miku a hit in NA (if they want a broader audience)

Only song I have by Miku on my setlist is Black Rock Shooter. Iunno if I wanna hear Miku singing Poker Face. It would be incredibly awkward, especially if one of my friends listened in.

Well, Miki already sang Bad Romance. (No, that is not a typo).
Luka's "Secret" keeps having Lady Gaga linked in Related Vids.
Black Rock Shooter's nice but she has better songs out there.

Only reason I have BRS is because I like Black Rock Shooter :( Dunno if it's worth it for me to dive into that huge pool of songs by Vocaloid to see if there's anything I'd like.
(Edit : On a side note, I don't even listen to Lady Gaga, nor any other English Singing bands nowadays. Mostly just downloading new songs by Japanese bands like Abingdon School Boys o3o; I know about Poker Face because of darned Mass Media.)

I can send you some I think are at least tolerable? XD Another day, though. Some of them have really interesting stories to them that don't have that much to do with their original concepts...
