I made the mistake of enhancing without restoring first. enhancing will remove all deterioration points but will not change the condition of the item. so your 60/100 item will remain 60/100 and you will still need to restore it and will add 40 deterioration points right off the bat.
Lesson learned, restore first, enhance second.
This. If you restore it, then enhance, the deterioration resets to 0. If you enhance, then restore, you get however much deterioration the restoration will give you. Discovered that the first or second time I enhanced.
Though, what you experienced could have been a bug at that point, whyrainfalls, but it was more likely that you had repaired after instead of before.
What zqzg was saying is that the condition wasn't restored due to the enhance, so when it was repaired it got deterioration again. Like in your before/after pic, the deterioration is reset to 0 by the enhance, but the condition is still 100/108, meaning it will have 8 deterioration after repairing. If you repair first, however, the condition will be 0, and thus there will be no necessary repairs after the enhance.
If what you are describing, though, whyrainfalls, is the object right after enhancing but
before repairing still having deterioration, then yes, it was a bug.
