Due to the recent Double Rainbow Events, prices have been jumping all over the place. Some of the items for an example, White Herbs have been increasing up to 24k to 30k max. It's not just White Herbs, things like ore fragments and other items are rising and/or dropping. In response to the next Double Rainbow event, do you think prices will continue to jump (increase) or decrease?
Do not LOL at this but, I buy ore fragments and refining is going to be expensive if they continue to do these events. Sure it's helping you get revenue, Nexon. These events should come occasionally, not frequently.
This may apply to the rest of the servers, it may or may not.

It does apply to rest of the servers.
Demand for Holy Water is high during Rainbow, due to Enchant being a hard skill to rank (more annoying then hard)
Aswell as Leathers and items being found. Items from SM's get Synthesized. Items you wouldnt find normally because you SM'd alot
would go on the board. This event is Lifeskill love.

Everyone (who is involved in lifeskill/alchemy) wants to rush the lifeskill/alchemy skills on Rainbow due to double prof. Naturally, there is a mad rush for the harder to get materials.
Don't worry, this Rainbow event was just to make up for the last one. Generally, more people are happy than unhappy when it comes to these events.

EJ3's have also been dramatically reducing in price. I saw one as low as 600k and several for 700k in Ch4. Supposedly this has to do with the doubled drop rate.

Ice Spear for 800K that was still there for over a day, bad sign. Lots of beholder shields on sale lately, too. x.e

? I still buy white herbs for 20k a stack and I just bought 14 stacks for 15k each the other day.
And I agree with Crimmy on the EJ3 thing. Before the double rainbow event, it took me 2 weeks to sell my EJ3 for 900k in housing and now, the prices in housing are going down to 700k. ._.

I could make a profit off of Thin Threads alone. Oh, yes, I can. Not many people are willing to make Thin Threads to sell to r8 Weavers.
Depends on how you look at it though. Dex/profitable Life skills aren't on everybody's minds.

Probably too busy buying materials before this weekend starts.
White dyes have fallen to about 300 ~ 350k, by the way.

Mari's economy problems now are due to the fact that 90% of Mari has no gold. They have expensive items which they cannot sell because no one else who wants the item has gold. Everyone tries to barter item trades now and it's annoying. People need to get off their asses and start dungeoning for gold again.

^ I make 80% of my money selling and am sure as heck not the only one. We need to balance it out so income and outcome are even.

Precisely. I do the same to make money, mostly for repairs and ego feeding now since I cured myself of Fashionogi syndrome. It is SOOOO annoying to have people note me offers that include a combination of items of a far lesser value instead of gold.

This, but actually pick up the danged gold. It irritates me when people don't pick up their gold drops in dungeons but then complain about having no money or ask to borrow 50k that they won't give back.

Well, seriously, if you're selling something for a lot like maybe 8 mil+, you most likely won't get a money offer for a long long time no matter what the economy is like.
What I do now is sell materials. Everyone always needs these and they're not worth too much each, but they add up. I also always pick up any gold drop that's 100+ in SMs (the gold drops during the Rainbow event were lovely) and farm.
I'm not sure if this is a somewhat important factor into the "no gold", but there's that Tara donation system which pretty much eats millions from players who donate to get rare prizes and then distributes out gold to a random newbie. Depending on how it works, a lot of those newbies could be bots...and also the auction system, which is taking a lot of gold from the super rich players too. I often see 5-8 mil being gone every two days.

Double Rainbow event: 2k ~ 5k ~ 7k gold + 8.8k Exp per Black Longa Bear. I filled up four 50k gold bags within.. not even an hour.
I do agree with there not being enough gold going around though. Too many people spamming gachas just to earn their keep.
On the other hand, it has offered people like me who can't spend the NX but save up their gold some oppurtunities. Gacha items drop in price and the offer with the most gold usually gets priority. I got a pure black Metal Fire Wand for 700k + a white fixed.
