Similar questions have probably been asked, but what would be the best character (and weapon set) if the most valued traits are DPS, solo efficiency, and fast progression?
-does not care about survivability
-low specs friendly preferred
-appearance is NEGLIGIBLE o_O
This is not a poll because I would like to hear reasons.
Thanks in advance to responses.

Solo Efficiency is definitely Fiona.
DPS, Fast Progression, that's all of the characters.
Lann, IMO, has the lowest Survivability.
If you have low specs, Evie is out of the question, at least until you get a scythe.
Really, it just depends on your playing style.

I would think Lann has the highest DPS, but lower survivability than Fiona. Fiona has better survivability, but lower DPS than Lann.
Both have higher DPS than Evie though.

Not all the characters have equal progression rates. I guess you're saying the difference is unimportant?
Why Fiona for solo efficiency?

Fiona is efficient because of the block/counter-attack and heavy stander. She's the safest and most efficient solo character we have, not to mention that if you max out all the skills you're pretty much set for damage. ._.; Heretic's Fiona is godly cause of the AP he's gotten.

In terms of raw DPS, it is apparently agreed that Scythe Evie takes the gold, with Spear Lann holding taking silver. I'm unsure where the rest of them stand, but it feels like Hammer Fiona could take the bronze.
If you want to be able to solo, Fiona is a good choice because of her ability to completely negate damage using her shield skills, as well as constantly knock bosses down. She boasts the highest knockdown rate of all 3 classes I believe. Scythe Evy is not a bad choice either because of her ability to blink out of tight situations. Her smashes are also pretty good for knocking down bosses as well.
In terms of fast progression, I'd say Fiona progresses quite quickly since a bunch of her early abilities deal a ton of damage early on. Evy can also be placed in there, due to her ridiculous damage output with a staff in the early levels, and the fact that her scythe deals a ton of damage right out of the box once you switch. Lann, sadly, has a pretty slow progression since his attacks barely scratch enemies until you've reached at least level 20, it feels.

I would have to say Evie or Fiona, I play both of them and found they leveled really fast. Evie has amazing output damage at low level with staff, even at high levels. And if you switch at 24 to Scythe you are going to have amazing output on damage, and blink will make solo'ing much easier. Fionas ability to negate damage is possibly one of the best things when it comes to solo'ing, She can dish out quite the damage with a hammer as well. Really though, it comes down to play style i think.

I don't really see how spear lann have higher DPS then Sword. Their attack is wild and flies all over the place. Yeah, its good for clearing out mobs. Doesn't seem great for bosses though.

Most spears get higher ATT than Swords, not to mention the Fury Infusion which increases ATT and Crit Chance by a bunch. So by putting all that stuff together, you get a crazy masochistic guy who's got a really high chance of critting with smashes, and a ton of smashes that do multi-hits, thus nearly securing a crit with almost every attack, allowing you to use Gliding Fury and Lightning Fury a lot. It also helps that all of his smashes gain extra damage with more AGI. Another thing about spear is the fact that you can start gliding fury as soon as you get the crit, rather than at the end of the smash. Fury Infusion's stamina refill also allows him to continuously attack, whereas sword doesn't have the luxury, and must watch his stamina.
Sword, on the other hand, tends to be slower, and is limited to 3 multi-hit combos, two of which are quite slow. He seems to have taken the role of hit-and-run at the current time, but later should be able to be more aggressive in his combos due to a higher invincibility duration through use of Slip Dash and Nimble Dash.
