Farming tomatoes is the easiest, but also the crop that gives the least profit.
Around 150-300k I think.
Also, wait for 100%.

The amount of money you make depends on what time of the week you sell your crops and also how many others are selling their crops. I can say from my farming experience that most of the time in the middle or end of the weeks, 4/5 of the crops will be at a much less value than their base price and one will be way overpriced. I think it'd be safest to sell your crops a few hours or a day after maintenance, so if you can time your farm right so that you harvest 5 hours before maintenance, you will be guaranteed to get the base price of the crop.

Also, you should harvest at 100% if you can. If your farm is going to expire before you can get to 100%, harvest before then because if you let it automatically harvest, it'll give you 5% less crop I think.

More like -50%, i normally get ~380k per strawberry farm. once i completely forgot to harvest and only got 120k

edit:
@OP, btw it can be a little hard to keep track of the farming time. So i recommend you to use a timer.
If you have windows vista/7 you can use this
I use it for a while and it helps a lot keeping the track of the farm actions
