Most effective way to defeat Shadow Commander Hardmode?

  The 16,000 HP is really getting to me.
  I need to practically solo it for the G11 Shadow Mission, Evolution of the Caliburn, since Cai and Leymore are rarely any help.
  I'd get a Royal Alchemist, but they're not readily available, so I've given up on that.
  
  I was thinking of Final hit with Goddess Obsidian 170-Daggers while transed, then use Demigod and spam Spear of Light... What do you think? (r5 FH)
  Is there a more effective way to kill this monster?
  
  I've had it lightningbolt me right after trans disappeared, killing me, and it killed Leymore and Cai multiple times using Life Drain =/
  (For this problem, would it work if I used heal on Cai and Leymore? o.o)

  Poison mostly. Poison can do 1k+ dmg per "wave" in hardmode mobs
