SCC HM is only ~25k per run, without taking into account the semi-common huge lucky finish from the doppel. It's certainly enough to repair equipment + accessories, but it won't make you rich unless you're spamming it during double rainbow (100k per run and a half and stacks upon stacks of finest leathers).
Some of the very rare items at the endchest such as Glorious bows, Crocodile swords and Stiff shields can be sold for profit, as well as leathers... but you certainly won't be making over one or two millions a week just by spamming it. I actually made far more money by selling tail caps and enchants/rares from Rundal Normal HM and Rundal Basic HM when I used those places for leveling.
Well, I wouldn't really know since I don't run SCC all that often. I'm a more laxed type of person that likes changing which mission/dungeon I spawn every so often so that I don't get bored of doing the same thing over and over again. Also, it takes me a while to get this mission done on advance when I'm by myself, so I don't run this sm much unless I'm helping someone else.

Also, I completely and totally disagree with this. 1 mil? Either you're insanely lucky or you're exaggerating a lot. I don't even get like 20k worth of gold drops in one SCC and the leathers don't drop that often either (plus they're going down in price now). Most, if not all, of end chest items are things like life drain crystals or something which are maybe 3k each...barely enough to even count. Unless your casual-playing day is grinding this SM like 50 times straight...yeah, I don't think so. =/
Alright, so... maybe casual isn't 8 hours of SCC Hard grind. <_<; And yeah, I get lucky a lot with gold drops in that mission. Repairs do drain a lot of gold since I do 98% repair. Sunday can alleviate that a bit.
No, it's not during the Double Rainbow, I guarantee that. I didn't bother to keep track of my monetary count on those days.

Exception to these is the r1 blacksmith: Once he's been r1 for about 6 months he can produce more money than anyone. But since the current gold estmate to r1 is around 180-200 million. They tend to be poor for a long time first.
Precisely why i hoard my money. And my leathers. I stopped selling leathers once i hit the 10m marker.
I also keep my fine/st silks and fabs.
Anything that has to do with life skills really... i just keep.
And there's gold worth and net worth (tally of every item if i was to do a mass sale)
Gold = 36m accessible. Net around 50-70m if i was to liquidate everything.

If you have something to watch (Netflix or a TV) 8 hours fly by fast.
I finished a season of Stargate SG1 in two days once.

All I really do is pick up everything and sell it. Yes, everything, because I'm a huge miser.
If I ever actually try to earn money, I do metallurgy. That's a pretty easy way to get rich fast imo, as long as you have a shop/house to sell ores in.
I only have 9 mil so I'm not really rich, but eh I guess I'm not that bad off.

Oh. Well, I can't fight on Mabi and watch TV at the same time, sooo... =/

For sure SCC HM is at least 20k.
Regurlar mobs drop around 1-2k and there's like 80 of those, so you have a good chance of 20k right there.
In addition, Dopple drops around 20k regardless of lucky finish or not. Sometimes it'll drop a stack/half-stack of crystals which can easily go for over 20k, either with or without the gold.
I guess you could end up with low amounts of gold if you're really unlucky with drops, but I usually walk out with like 40-60k on average per 12-15 minute run.

What? I almost never get gold drops from the dopple. Only 1 crystal. o.O

The dopple has an uncommonly high rate for huge lucky finishes, I can count on at least one every three runs. The only noteworthy items I've seen it drop is a stack of Life Drain Crystals or a single Finest Leather, though.

And the rate of lucky finished seems to go up with the difficulty, from what I've observed at least.

Mmm must be very unlucky then. I only do it on hard.

Honestly...why not do what I do, get a farm and then stop in there after like every 2 or 3 shadow missions...it's not hard since you need to get repairs done anyways and the guy in tara sucks so yea. I just do farming between what I intend on doing that night, weather its a shadow mission or a dungeon.
