Another reminder!

  Lately, people have been starting to actively backseat moderate. I appreciate you guys' concern for the site, but please just report the problem instead of handling it yourself. So I'm guessing everyone needs to go over the rules again. Backseat modding is against the rules, and by backseat modding, not only are you opening yourselves to getting infractions, which will lead to a ban, but you're also only +1ing, since a majority of the time, the person backseat modding isn't even contributing to the topic, so they're also in a sense spamming. Especially with necroposts. By telling people that they're necroposting, you're also necroposting, thus making you a hypocrit.
  
  So please use the report function (the triangle with the exclaimation mark in it) when there's something you think should be moved, or locked, and a staff member will come along and take care of it. Please let us do our jobs. Again, I apreciate that you're looking out for us, but the report function will go alot further than saying what's wrong with a thread/post if you only post it in that thread.

  It would. A regular member disciplining another regular member over something that directly relates to the forums and the rules of the forums count as backseat modding. While I won't discipline anyone that has prior backseat modded, but any further backseat modding can potentially result in a temp ban.

  The way I see it, if the backseat mod is kind enough about it, and the other member is understanding enough, then it shouldn't matter.

  As much as we'd like it to be that way all the time, it's not. So we'd rather avoid those conflicts.
