I want to see more of these upgrades for cylinders, Alchemists could use this pretty well, since they cant have Spirit Cylinders.

Wow, this overupgrade thingy sounds like an ego killer. The spirit awakening skill you get from egos probably balances it out, but man I'm so happy I decided not to get an ego.
Spirit Awakening (regardless of the version) is terrible. DevCat needs to make energy multiplicative. (ex: 300 energy = 300% base damage). These new upgrades have made me question spirit weapons a few times now.

Huh, then I guess there's no real advantage to using ego's anymore. Though considering the randomness of this upgrade path, maybe an ego might still be better for it's consistency in stats. IDK I'm trying to find a reason for ppl to keep their egos.

Well at least egos don't unbless when you die, I guess.

Herro wrote on 2010-11-25 23:16
thats cuz you cant bless egos, but it is true you can drop your S/R Types which gets annoying...

GOOD
Finally, a weapon will become unique.
No more "fixed recipes", everyone will have different upgraded weapons.
I like that.

Spirit weapons are capped, their stats still have yet to grow fully.

Artisan remodeling :
100 Prof
Dex +1 ~ 21 · Luck +1 ~ 70
+1~5 HP +1~5 Stam (1 to 4 - Random grant)
Wish i could put this on my highlander bow but meh. Even if it was out I probably wouldn't try to put it on it, due to chances of getting nothing good on it TTwTT

I somewhat do not like the idea that people are going to need Nx to reset stats.

But it will still make me think that even if they uncap it all the way to level 100, would it really be worth the time and money to get it that high, considering even getting to level 40 is so much time and money?

Well the alternate to the buying nx is to actually obtain multiple weapons and get them that high

That would potentially make skills like blacksmithing and carpentry useful.

It is, but the prices for items are dropping. Here, a smithed broad would have cost 170k a year ago, and 120k a year back, and now it only costs 80k on average, because of market competition.
I see that this will drive the demand up for smithed items in the long run.
