So I havent bought a new laptop in forever and a day and hers is pretty much dead now. We're trying to find a laptop that isn't obnoxiously pricely (aka over 2 grand) but holds a punch and is 17'+.
HP envy's have had very, very mixed reviews and I have kind of put them aside as a "maybe - not likely" pile.
I'm going to try and avoid Toshiba due to the issues I've been having with them the past while but if I find one with a better review i'll consider it.
Acer I've had decent luck with but I can't seem to find any nice 17' laptops for them atm. I saw one on a future shop website but other than that not much from them (except a desktop I'm contemplating....)
Sony I havent seen any around here for sale really so i don't really think of it as an option. I prefer buying with hard cash in store if i do it that way lol.
HP other laptops not envy series I'll think over too, depends on specs.
Gateway or Dell.... don't talk to me.
I'm not worried about HDD just ram and graphics card. Anything over 6GB RAM is decent and as long as the sodding graphics card isn't sautered in I'm not too worried. So really I'm not very picky I just don't want another case of graphic lag basically.
Soo I might have missed some companies there but oh well. Any suggestions guys? I have some time to debate it over here she's using my laptop for the time being but I'd like to get a new one for her so we have that one for back up. Thanks.
