So I've asked my dad for a new computer for Christmas, that way I can play Vindi and Starcraft II on settings other than the lowest and not have to uninstall games in order to install other games. I figure I might just end up using it for everything though. How do you guys feel about this computer?

And maybe someone could recommend a wireless adapter? Not too expensive, but also not a dirt cheap one. :P

Well, it all depends on how you customize the comp, but you should just buy a prebuilt from newegg or something. Usually better for the same exact price.

Well, I get no customization. My dad's buying it tomorrow from a store.
Apparently it has a 750GB HD and 6GB RAM. That's all he said. :/

Well, that seems good but if it has a bad graphics card and a sub-par processor it won't be so great.
(won't be able to game much at all)

lol dell
but the thing is that we generally don't know whats a good prebuilt
It will be difficult to run games well because the graphics card is "integrated"
but the processor is pretty strong
save money for new graphic card.
and it should be fine.

I still don't know why you people still buy from dell... The only thing they have good at the moment are monitors, and their Alienware series isn't half bad.

you'll still have to play on lowest, sorry

You won't be able to run either Vindictus or SC2 on full specs, but it can definitely handle it with toned down graphics, because the graphics card is a bit out of date. If you have the time, sweat, and blood to build your own computer, you'll save money and have better specs.

Of course, if you don't wanna go completely geek, go ahead and buy it. And like the cat said, a better graphics card would be great.
As for wireless adapters...
Newegg.com - Wireless Adapters, PCI Adapter, Wireless-G Adapter, Wireless-G Network Adapter, PCI Wireless Adapter, Linksys Wireless Adapter
Take a look. The reviews help a lot for your choice.

Apparently their customer service has gotten better. However, I still hold the opinion that Alienware "isn't half bad" only because Alienware was pretty awesome to begin with, then Dell bought them and didn't completely break it.

The overpricing really killed it. Honestly, you can build a better computer than the Aurora ALX for half the price.

You can build a computer that can max out vindictus for ~$600, which is around most prebuilt prices.
