Alchemist+Mage Questions :D

  Alchemist: Friend just gave me a Moist Water Cylinder, which adds 27 water alchemic damage. If it's at R1 that is(as in water cannon). Only downside is 10x fee. My WC is at rank 3, so is it worth it putting all that AP on AC to get it to R1?
  
  
  Mage: I plan on using a lot of ice spear. I want to get Mana Reduction set, +Fully upgraded ice wand for mana reduction(including gem)
  Is it worth it? o -o.

  I meant I'm gonna upgrade my ice wand to reduce mana %. I believe maximum is 28%. And with Karis set will stack to 38% o -o

  well i never used my moist cylinders....costs waaaaaay too much to repair T_T. imo, just get an upgraded cylinder, its not that hard really o-o;

  Water Drop is a suitable replacement for Moist if it gets too expensive to maintain. It also only requires rank A WC, which you already achieved. As for the AP costs, it's only about 60 AP, which isn't a lot and can be done easily in a rebirth.

  Just letting you know that your water cylinder's dura will drop like ninepins and you'll be repairing all the time. Allllll the time...for 11k a point. 8D Moist is not worth the cost in my opinion. Tower cylinders are better anyway for increased damage.

  yeah im ranking crystallization atm. my friend has an old main with R1 fire ball so He'll be helping me create fireball crystals for them

  Also this is just my personal bias with humans: Ice spear(on humans as a first adv magic) is not worth it for the following reasons:
  
  1. High AP cost
  2. High MP cost
  3. Little bonus mana from the skill
  4. Poor damage efficiency
  
  Ice spear won't match up to thunder or fireball, which are better starter magics. All of them have near equal damage output in the end, however the range/time/effects of this damage is different.
