What's the best sword ego? I currently have Masamune but most likely I'll be switching at some point.
I heard the 2H sword has the best stats?
When I say what's the best, I mean best possible. What are the top 3? :o

2handers tends to have a better smash. One handers have a better WM. As the regular non-ego one hander swords improves, the better the one handed sword egos get.
Muramasa probably has the best critical/max damage combination. Bastard Sword has the highest max. Gladius is a lot of min while keeping decent max/critical rate.
Dustin Knight Sword has the highest max damage and decent critical for a two hander.

Masamune is Decently High Max Damage Ego, for 2h, its not far off twohander.
What is shines in is Critical.

Two hander will be easier to repair, so I recommend it over the others in the long run.
Of course, if you can get massive amounts of NX into repairing your ego, (I would personally get rebirth cards, lol), get the masamune
In the end, though, you need to think about this for a bit; masamune will be harder to use because of your thought process of "I can't repair this easily", and therefore making it useless. In my honest opinion, making ego weapons from expensive weapons is just for show and not for real use in combat.

if you're dead set on a two handed ego, I would recommend the Dustin Silver Knight Sword as it has the highest max damage, roughly double the weapon crit of a two handed sword, and higher durability (thus enabling you to repair more points in a single repair) than a two handed sword. Due to the recent fishing event killing the prices on these swords, you can get them for fairly cheap, so if you stock a few, you'll have plenty of repair swords for a long time. They're not too terribly difficult to synth or smith either. The only annoying thing about these swords is that you have to be pretty dedicated to feeding it or it'll be weak for a long long time. Unlike the two handed sword, it gains a lot of max damage from stats other than strength. You need to max out luck AND will to fully realize their potential.

Hm, well it looks like the wiki is down so I can't go over all of this.

I've had a couple rare at the time ego weapons... and they got used and abused in combat... a lot. it's also not as much NX to repair as it's grossed up to be. Perhaps it's true for a bow ego however (they get drained of dura faster than swords) but for swords and blunts i don't' find it to be that bad. It could just be how much i train personally. I dont' grind to get to outrageous current levels per rebirth - i just can't do it it pisses me off too easily.

I currently have a Masamune ego. I've had it for like a week and gone through only 10 durability. That's only 500 nx, so it's not hard to get.
However I might not stick with it, so I haven't repaired it yet.
