Seems that I always get the best things out of gacha when I'm down on enchanting luck...
Anyway, I've gotten this out of gacha and I was kind of thinking if I should keep it or sell it. I personally have no love for the boots but I wonder what outfits it match other than the banallen set which I also don't really like.
I'm currently looking at options like trading the boots for something else, but just need an opinion here.
It's worth quite a lot, about 10 million in gold, for which I can get other outfits like grace shawl or another clown robe.

o___o ?!?!?!? That's like my most favorite dress in the game! But anyways, if you don't like the boots, it'd be much better to sell them and buy outfits you actually do like. I see no point in keeping the boots to try and match them with other outfits when you already don't care for them.

You can sell it and use it to fund Blacksmith if you want. Usually if I get anything worth selling or keeping, I become a pack rat and throw it in my bank never to be seen again, but selling it is usually a good idea imo :U

I think the ribbon on the top of it makes it look ridiculous and gaudy.
I would sell them if I were in your shoes (*giggle*, puns).

Sell it unless you know it's only going to be worth more in the long run

I'm seeing if I can get a trade for this. Hopefully it'll be a good one.
I'm not too interested in speculating in the value of an item I do not like. Most items that I like have dropped dramatically in value but I do not mind, which is why I prefer to keep things that are precious to me.

Alas.
Can't even find someone who wants to buy it or trade for an outfit that I like and is of equal value.
I'm on the verge of tossing it onto a mule account and let it collect dust.
Hopefully things will change this weekend, maybe the weekend crowd isn't here yet to start making offers.

Aren't you ranking BS? Why don't you sell the dress to fund it?

I'm extremely wiling to sell but no prospective buyers yet.
And I don't want to go for lowball offers.

Ignore the crappy offers and just wait.
If there are no buyers, then just toss it in ur mule acc.

It's complicated by the fact that this event ends only on the 15th of December.
The gachapon event runs for about one month, which complicates things a lot.
The prices of many items are really unstable. The clown robe was once worth 30-50 mil, now it's like 10 million and falling even more. The fall is still quite slow as there is a demand for it.
Right now as I see it, there are at least 4 people selling female Banallen shoes but not enough people wanting it. There is at least one person interested but I think that person is waiting out to see if prices of the shoes fall.
The trouble with long gacha events is that there is a big window for people to get good items from gachapon and hence drive down the prices.
There are people coming up with rumours that the Banallen set will face a sharp decrease in price because in future there will be tailoring manuals for it, but this is unconfirmed. Demand for the outfit and male shoes is strong but the female shoes aren't really that popular.
The reason for lack of demand (the way I see it) is because of the lack of choices of outfits to go with it. The shoes look good with the detailing but the majority of outfits in Mabinogi right now just don't go well with it. When compared to the oriental style of banallen male shoes and the outfits in general, this looks like a perfect mismatch to the outfit. The banallen dress looks better off with highland ethnic shoes. Banallen female shoes with a frills type outfit just seems a bit weird in my opinion.
The one thing I found is that miniskirt type outfit fit well with this, but there are too few of them to choose from and I don't really like most of them. Example like bianca wing bolero and royal alchemist suit, or ceremonial dress w/o stockings vintage or not.
I personally think that ceremonial dress with the shoes do look nice, and if nobody is going to buy at my listed price I'm going to get one (non-vintage) in a nice colour and then wear it with the shoes.
The only way I can see how the banallen shoes will soar both in monetary value and/or personal value to me is when there are a lot more clothing that can match it. This is the only hope that I have for it if I were to end up keeping it.
