  it's not worthless! i don't know why people keep saying this, sure it's damage "sux" but it's not ment for damage. windblast is ment for knock back/knock down

  gale can only happen when you use windblast with a normal and wind cylinder.
  how do i normally use wind blast? countering!
  wind blast can be loaded while being knocked back/down

  i love it when i wind counter my enemies, it gives me the upper hand :awesome:
  basicy it can be a good skill if you know how to use it!
  it's also a good combo starter
  Windblast > charge > other skill(watercannon, flame burst, frozen blast and magic bolts ect)
  but... this skill has a cooldown time(40 secs) after being used 3 times and it Can be evaded
  
  but it's not a bad skill at all, you just gotta be smart about using it!
  pvp uses, keep in mind it can be evaded, like after the enemie knocks you down and he/she can use evade to dogde your windblast and it's risky using it on a archer :T_T:
  but yea.. i love windblast and i bet you will too
  
  and one more thing.... Alchemy Wind Mastery next gen Might add knock back to wind blast(unconfermed)

  In fact the skills never list what it even improves, each rank will only say improved -element- efficiency, and it seems you lack a kr account and would not know otherwise if it did or did not add extra range, it is after all the least tested skill.

  Once it gets uncapped the distance you can be from the target as well as the knockback distance increases. You should also note that you can not load windblast out of windmill. Also, windblast's cool down activates if used 3 times within a given time period, not just consecutively.
  
  Although if you're using it for pvp I would be cautious about ranking it, because it WILL knock them past your charge range.

  well yea.. i dont have a kr account, and it should add damage to shock. shock is after all is a element wind alchemy
  and i hope, i really hope the mastery adds more knock back(gale)
  and this post was about wind blast. not shock or frozen blast ><

  Wind blast will not knock you out of charge range, unless you have nub charge rank. What it WILL do is give your opponent a chance to CT or AR, assuming you're talking about wb+charge. Just look at the math. Assuming max distance for gale at r6 300+980=1280, rF charge is 1500 that's what 220 distance more? even assuming that with a wind cylinder the knock back distance is much greater (500) r6 charge has 1790 range. That's still within max kb range, even though barely.
  
  wb+charge strictly speaking gets worse as the rank gets higher. mainly cause the extra distance will almost guarantee your opponents being able to load CT right after.
  
  the most useful thing for wb imo is to give an opening to use LD. Alot of people seem to advocate wm+ld, but that's false and only applies to dumb aggro monsters. In PvP evade effectively covers the distance and will allow your opponent to reach you before or just before your skill loads depending on your ms.
  This [0dist wb+ld] is likely most effective against giants > elves > humans in that order or perhaps elves>[altatl giants]~AR humans

  Windblast should only be used as either a heat buster attack activator, or to save your ass from a rushing mob. Thats it.
