There are dyes in mab too, but they're cash-shop only but tradeable :P
Humans are the slowest moving race, so yes they're extremely helpful for humans. Even the slowest mount is like biking speed compared to running speed. And there are also flying mounts which are like car speed, but they can't be used everywhere. Besides that I couldn't live without a pet in general. If you're about to die you can play dead then summon the pet to take aggro off you then get back up, heal, and get back to fighting. But I would wait to see if I like mab first before spending any money on it.

I'm thinking of my first char as Elf, is it a waste still?

Well you should start as a human, then get an elf card. You will also be able to get a Giant card to try the classes out. If you like the elf, and want to have a premium look for it, just make a new account or wait till you get your very own Premium RB card.

I was thinking of getting premium elf card anyway, playing as human is for what purpose? Just generally learning the game without getting "lolwtfpwned" right?

Actually I'm a human ._.
Don't get me wrong, Humans don't suck. They are all around characters really. Melee is more torwards Giants, and Elves have Magic and Range. All the characters can still learn practically all skills except a few that are for certain races, but none of the races are bad.

First of all follow Blizaga's advice. Even if you're planning on using a premium elf card you should get the free cards for each race, that way you'd have 4 total characters. That means a lot more inventory and bank space, plus your bank could hold up to 8 mil (only 2 mil with 1 char).
But yeah if your main is an elf it depends on the mount. According to the wiki, the slowest mounts (besides mimics and that are meant solely for ground travel) move 200% faster than a human while elves move 132% faster than a human. My main is an elf and I think it's nice to have a mount, but elves can make do without them.

Oh :C my bad.
*edit*I thought getting other regular character cards had to be bought with cash.

It's okay lol. Like I said though, get the 2 races cards. Humans aren't so bad, and regardless what race you choose you WILL get Mounts only cause running everywhere is slow. And mounts dont expire. They aren't that expensive either o -o

I'll see if I can bite my tongue without a mount for a while. Currently still waiting for the game to finish downloading, started at 5:00 pm and only at 24%. Making another character that's a different race is free right? So many questions I has to ask C:

If you make your first char a human and talk to the head of either the elves or giants you get a free char card from them for their respective races. You can then talk to the other leader after 24 hours to get the other card, resulting in 3 free chars.

Ah, thanks! I guess the Korean money vampires DO have some mercy.

Also if you delete all your characters in one account you'll get a free basic card which is the card you get to use when you first use your account. This card is unique as it gives you access to premium looks for all characters and is not race restricted, meaning you can use that card to create a human, elf or giant with premium looks. Though going human and getting the free cards would be the best idea.

15 million. There was an update that now allows 5 million gold per character on the account.

Oh, seriously? I wish I knew this before, I can deposit a couple checks!
I was wrong anyways, it would be 6 mil with the old 2 mil per char -_-
