Load first page then last

This is an archive of the mabination.com forums which were active from 2010 to 2018. You can not register, post or otherwise interact with the site other than browsing the content for historical purposes. The content is provided as-is, from the moment of the last backup taken of the database in 2019. Image and video embeds are disabled on purpose and represented textually since most of those links are dead.

I guess it's some weird new forum issue. But it seems like for be when I click the to go to the last page of a thread from the index, it always takes me to the first page, loads it, then ... refreshes with the last page or something.

I dunno.

It seems incredibly inefficient if the server is having to do that though, for whatever reason.

Shouldn't be happening anymore. For me it doesn't. Was one of the many small problems with mod rewrite not being friendly on anything but apache. But apache sucks.
