Thinking about getting VPN for Vindictus - any advice?

So far I've been playing Vindictus with a combination of AOL and Your Freedom, and I can't ever get more than 1 bar in any party I join. The excessive lag is getting to me, so I thought about getting a VPN...except that I know nothing about any VPNs. :(

I know some of you use VPNs to play, so I thought I'd ask here about your experience before shelling out cash for something I have no experience with.

1. What kinds of VPN are good? (or are they all the same)

2. Are they all monthly subscriptions? (that would be ideal since some months I don't play)

3. Most importantly, do they cut down on the lag substantially?

edit: Wait thats your first post. Make sure you check the dates before you post a reply. Read the forum rules for rules on posting to older threads. Generally don't post in anything more than a page in and your safe. You can post in guides section anytime with no issue on necroposting.

What Archi said, the limit is 2 months, anything older than that shouldn't be necroed, there are exceptions, check the rules for that.
