Okay, so I can type Korean and Japanese
한êµì–´
ã«ã»ã‚“
But I can't seem to make it come out in game.
Is there a font that I need to make it come out in game? I currently use the bitmap font for the lag reduction, but I'm guessing there's another font that I need to use for Eastern Languages?
Thanks for the help!

You can always switch the bitmap font to the official kr/jp clients. I think there's a mod for those already just look around.
Or you can find the font file and switch to one font of your preference with asian support (simsun for example)

Ugh, too lazy to look around for mods now... It's not like I'm a huge fan of them either; I only use zoom mod for flexible viewpoints, dura mod for convenience and font mod to reduce lag.
I'll see if the second method works though (with simsun font) Thanks a bunch!
Are there other fonts that could work?

There are a lot of fonts that support Asian languages. I think that most major fonts like Arial, Times New Roman etc. will support them, but those are... er, the type of font that makes mab laggy (forget what they're called).
The font that came with my text mod, BusAccident!, supports Japanese but not Korean. I like the font so I haven't tried to change it to something that supports both.
If you want to see what fonts you have that can support Asian languages, try opening a word document and typing in the language(s) then changing the font to every ttf you have installed. The font won't change if it doesn't support the language in a word document.

I'm only interested in the font that can show up as Korean/Japanese text IN GAME, not on the word document. I can type in the words themselves, but the characters appear as question marks (?)

you need to turn off the bitmap fonts and use custom fonts. Arial Unicode is the only standalone font that supports chinese, japanese and korean at the same time. But you will get lag, just as much if not more than trebuchet (default font).

Have you tried using any of the fonts that work in Word though? I don't see why any font that does support Asian characters wouldn't support them ingame... the only problem is finding a nice looking ones that are truetype. None of my favorite Japanese fonts are truetypes =/
