Are these the last piece of the quest rewards ? I wanted to test out how they look with my current gear setup but I can't craft them yet :(
I assume having the chest + legs gives you boots and unlock helm craft, and handing in a helm gives you gloves?
Thanks for info, I admit I hadn't really spent much time searching previous threads on this issue out of laziness ^^

Boots -> Gloves -> Beret

What Ruquion said.
Would just like to add you can't really craft the other 3 pieces, you just turn in the parts and get them as quest rewards.
This means you can't have multiple sets >_< (unless you buy them from marketplace).

This is evil!! I find myself quite reluctant to use sets I know I can't replace on my own. Once you've maxed out the enchantment level, the condition only gets higher and higher.
:doom:
It'd be nice if such sets didn't deteriorate, or (less game-breaking) if another method besides enchanting existed to remove the negative effects of many repairs.

The negative effects of deterioration is just the increase in repair costs... and so far I've never reached a deterioration point that make the costs 'costly,' so I wouldn't let it bother you too much.
Does suck that you can't craft it twice, at any rate...

Upside: No more annoying rose tattoos to get.

Even 4000 deterioration on my Blood Prince Set and Blood Lancer costs only ~35k to completely repair.

And the fact that you can enhance your stuff whenever the repair does get too expensive.
-
PandaSong wrote on 2010-12-07 05:01
lol, I don't even enhance most of my stuff anymore because I know I will sell it later on.
It does blow that you can't create a bunch of them.. but the mats are selling for quite a nice amount. And you can always mail yourself the outfits if you don't enhance them. If you do.. then you just have to buy them from the people who won't wear them. Or make another Evy. D:
What I want to know is.. :( Why they made it a quest that requires tons of evil evil items. They couldn't have just been nice and let us run around fetching NPCs and getting 100% drop rates from a dungeon. <_<; I would have enjoyed that sooo much more.

I've been farming Scar for two days now. Not one damn Rose Tattoo. I might just have to go buy some D:

You must have some real bad luck or in two days you only did scar 10 times. Drops can be streaky in that you could get none for 10 runs and like 2 in 1 run.
Besides tattoos have become much cheaper now, if you wait longer it will get even cheaper until it stabilizes for a bit until something better comes along and then it will drop again.

I did like over 20-30 runs and only had 2-3 tattoos drop.
I ended up getting the red shells from hidden and then selling it, then using that money to buy rose tattoos. Much better drop rates and faster.
