I'm disappointed about these key things, but I'm much more disappointed about how most of the new events if not all recently have some sort of nx component. This skiing event doesn't, but then it was from a year or two ago when not everything cost NX. =/ I'd like some nice, fun events that didn't consist of some sort of gachapon or NX like we had before. In the good old days.
Yea, it makes me curious as well. Though for one thing, I believe the Mabinogi Team we have now is different than the Mabinogi Team back then. The Mabinogi Team back then didn't have any NX event, but they were incompetent when it came to their own jobs at times. While our current Mabinogi Team has NX items, they are very competent. Of course we have lag, bugs, issues, but these guys resolve it more actively and recently trying to hear the community more and one thing they do better is that when they say they will give out prizes, they do. The last team's Roll Call was forgotten but this current team is doing a good job at least giving the prizes out.
Maybe having more NX event is a way to show Nexon that Mabinogi is doing well since people spend the NX on the game and because of that, they get more manpower/resources allocated to them to improve said game.
Take the above with a bit of salt. It's just my own opinion and view. I'm not even sure if the Mabinogi Team is different or not, but it feels that way.

I have Brionac (5), Horn Broadsword (3), Dignified Bracelet (2), Round Popo Cap (2), 10 Magic Music Scores (20), Dustin Ego (5), Adniel's Horn (2), G11 Monocle (2), Wedding Ring (1), 6 Return Coupons (6) and a House Key (1).
That's 49 squares of things that are handy to keep with me, that can't be stored in pets. 37 of those squares cannot be banked.
And I'm sure other people keep way more than 6 Fliers.
Well lets see, looking at this list I can easily knock out 2 (maybe 3) things that don't belong in your inventory; the Brionac, Adniel's Horn and the G11 Monocle.
The brionac really doesn't belong in your inventory cuz chances are your hardly going to use it for anything outside of skill training. So this belongs in your bank. If your using this for it's higher damage, I suggest that you look into getting 2 fully upgradable bastard swords since they can outdamage the brionac in lue of the reduced stun time.
Adniel's Horn proves little to no use in most spammable sm's so this thing is just eating up space.
Also depending on whether or not your using your monocle for finding those strange books for extra exp or for some other thing of interest you can probably dump this item too.
That frees up 7-9 spaces and considering that your inventory has 60 allocatable spaces, you should have about 18-20 free spaces for putting whatever you need in those spaces. That's more than enough for doing whatever it is you plan on doing.

Well, do you really consider those items so vital? If you didn't have the chance to buy NX you would use your scarce resources (inv) more efficiently. Since you know you can always purchase more service then it doesn't really bother you to carry so many items. Brionac can be stored in the bank, as well as the monocle. They shouldn't be used that frequently but they are nice to have of course, so I can see why you carry them.
My point is, by filling your inventory with that kind of items, you're indirectly doing what Nexon wants, which is needing more inv. Won't say what I do, cause I don't mean to sound like what I do is best, just trying to use what you said as an example. In other words, there's always a better way of economically using your resources, but since your opportunity cost is so low (money for buying NX), you don't mind being 'lavish'.

Wouldn't he have to enchant those bastard swords, and somehow feel like using Horn on those?
Still, with those -9 spaces, he still never mentioned anything about armor or personalized clothing.
So that -9 really is nothing if he decides to upgrade an armor, which takes 8 slots right there.

Eh, space isn't an issue with me.
Good for others though, I suppose.

Well, we'll see how expensive these keys are. Maybe they aren't too bad. Maybe it's like 300 nx for 1 month...yeah okay maybe more like 2k.
If they're really that expensive, I'll just continue to buy pets when I want them and use the space there. >_<

I NEED ALL MY 18 RETURN COUPONS OK :(
and also my conceptual dustin, white horse clothing, house key, bsword ego for my human character.. I found myself constantly dropping the dustin to make space for ego food. there were two distinct occasions where i totally forgot i dropped my dustin and didn't remember I did until a few hours later. my guildie has 4-5 personalized/enchanted armors (just armors mind you) + ego, I don't know how he manages to even have any space, and another guildie of mine keeps 34 return coupons in her inventory =\
also, though against the ToS, it's not hard to just buy enough NX in-game to pay for service every month to keep extra storage running. but honestly, having to pay extra for those bags is just plain annoying

You don't need to enchant anything on those bastard swords to get them to out damage the brionac. The 204/214 upgrade path is enough to do that by itself. You will need a decent amount of dex though, but considering that he's carrying around 10 song scrolls, I'm going to assume that he should at least have enough dex to use them effectively.
And in my previous post, I could of pointed out the obvious space waster (those 10 song scrolls) and removing those would give you up to 20 extra inventory spaces, enough to allow for a personized armor set and still have plenty of space left. He (or she) must have a strong compelling reason to carry all those scrolls, though I can't imagine what it could be.

They have. That glitch was because of installing the g12 patch either through the client (Downloading the full client) or through the auto patcher. You had to download the manual patcher for the unglitched giants. I know since thats what I had to do.
As for this new storage system costing money. Meh, I accept. Nexon = Company = needs money to run = makes things costing money that people want. More storage is always a nice thing to have, especially for things such as life skills, feeding ego's, and organisation. Depending on the costs, this would be cheaper then buying another pet.

Just get a new bag when your old bag expires.
Not that big of a deal for me

If it doesn't require premium services then it looks like a much cheaper option for people to choose if they just get service for the extra space.

Ok guys I had this explained to me and if its anything like this then its all win IMO.
First the bags should sell for about 100k each at gen shop. You can buy as many as fit in your normal bag.
You need storage in order to access them like the current bags we have.
They have a 30 day expiration. At the end of the expiration you need to buy a nx key to access your items that were in that particular bag.
If you don't want to spend nx you simply take the items from the current bags dump them on the ground and purcase new ones.
Now the things in question are first, can you just buy more bags at th end of 30 days. Can you buy as many as can fit? I was told all of the above. If they limit either of those 2 things then this is not as good. But for those of us who buy service and things this is nothing but good having more storage.
EDIT: The other possiblilty that has been told to be is that you can have 1 of each bag type (current one + new one) which I beleive is something they have on TW or CH I forget which.
