  im forced to keep my pets clean of space so i can use them for exploration. Cause once a pet fills (or bank tab) i am less inclined to clean it up when the time is needed...

  That's what i try to do. Like my giant on a different account holds all the ingots i've made.
  2 other characters hold ancient treasure chest gacha boxes (480 boxes worth)

  I have hundreds of mules for storage purposes. I make new ones when I need them.
  I had about 40 accounts for enchant training to store burnables. Including about 15 for the useful enchant burnables and growing.
  My policy is to toss everything useful into mules and only dig out when I need them.
  Clothes are on about 16 accounts but I'm looking at selling some of them since I hardly get to wear them.

  I think you'll be better off making new accounts.
  Reason being that if you have to use sunlights you need someone else to entrust to you.

  I wish they would organise character selection in this sense. I can afford new character cards but I don't want a crazy screen for char select. Also, since I have to do part-time jobs, any character screen lag means I can't get to the game on time to complete the job.

  Erm, I think there's actually an option for you to just show your characters or pets, or favorites list (like you can put some characters on a list of favorites). I would get on to check now but I can't because of maintenance. However, I'm pretty sure there's that option.
  
  At the OP: I noticed that you have some of the same items in different bank tabs, such as thick threads. I would suggest moving them all over to one bank tab. Perhaps organizing all your alchemy crystals so that life drain is on the top and arats are on the bottom, etc. It would be helpful if you moved certain items to certain locations, such as the arats to Taill and some other items to a place you're at often. That'll cost time and money, but it might be worth it.
  
  As for moving things around in the bank itself, you don't have to pay a fee to deposit that item again as long as you don't close your bank. I'm not 100% sure if it's just in that particular bank tab or for all, but you can try it (it'll say "cancel transfer" when you pick it up from your inventory if there's no fee you have to pay).
