I remember a while back you said that running castle missions was very popular. I am curious as to why and also how you do them quickly enough to make it worth the time. Thanks.'
Cause here everyone seems to do Thier Method, Shadow Cast City, and a few do Cullin, shadow Warrior.

im not a foreign player, but i wish people would run more castle missions rather than shadow wiz basic/int over and over. Running ghosts/fomor raid int gives much better exp/drops, and isnt a whole lot harder. Alot less boring too.
i'd be up for running these at any time, i just never see any parties for them. In fact, tara altar is empty most of the time.

Said missions require actual cooperation, i think? Most NA players do not have this...

Well, I like doing Hard Mode Ghost of Partholon with my guild, with Thunder and Fireball the SM is a piece of cake, but we don't do it much because members (like me) are not able to log on frequently for SMs/Dungeons.

Their Method, Shadow Cast City might be fast exp but they get boring easily. These are soloable missions, therefore even with a party most of the time the workload is not fairly shared. The other thing is that since it uses the whole Tara map, it can get very laggy. Castle missions have less lag for most of the players over here, which is one big reason why many of us prefer such missions.
Also, if you have a lot of friends, you won't want to let them miss out on playing with you. Therefore, castle missions are great when we have 4-5 people online. Even in wild groups (wild party, channel 1) there's often a lot more people who are willing to party. Usually workload will be spread out evenly, and we have ways to boycott leechers in such parties so we hardly have leecher issues.
For The Other Alchemists, Middle room, 4 orbs-at-corners and double wave rooms, Fireball usually pulls through these rooms fast. Snow/sulphur golems are also useful as well if Fireball is not available. Ice spear is also fine for middle room if done properly. The other members are expected to cooperate by opening orbs and attacking targets that narrowly missed being KO-ed.
5 orb rooms (in a circle in the room), everyone stands in position and hit it and run out. Don't attack anything if possible. Once you get white tiger/dragon, you can just sit on the tiger, hit the orbs and then run out ASAP.
Blinkers/Beepers, frozen blast, or everyone should go in to windmill it.
Otherwise, we go by ordinary melee attack. People can choose Windmilling (if their critical and damage rate is very high) or Smashing. People who are done with their target should go and help out the others who have not completed attacking their targets, or targets that are not targetted yet.
For people whose damage isn't optimal I would recommend some careful use of pets (player-controlled, mouse + ctrl + shift) to hold back monsters so that they can smash the monster twice.
For the statue rooms (ice/fire etc), low-hp and low-defence elves should stay outside. High defence and mana shield is recommended for these type of rooms.
The real issue will be the bosses. Fomor raid - take rusty swords in the middle of mission before boss room, use poison (snake pets) and attack with rusty swords. Basilisk - Either smashing after it's in defence mode (recommended)/endless windmill. Ghost of Partholon is one mission that we have with high failure rates at hard mode. Till now I have yet to determine the most effective way to deal with boss and the blinkers/beepers, and usually its the blinker/beepers giving the most problems at the boss room.
