I think option 2 would look nice if it used the same style as the avatar area.
If not, option 3 + the cats idea can look good.
edit: something like this I mean.

Exactly what I had in mind.

Option 1 because I'm used to info about things in the siggy part of my post ^_^ (Another forum)

If we do the book idea I think it would look better under the avatar and all that info.

I don't understand the book idea ._.

Basically the book when clicked on(or hovered over?) will reveal the server, race, gender, etc etc about the poster.

Ah I see, thanks.

I'd go with option three. Besides, that place has lots of room even if it's a minimal post.

DEFINITELY under the avatar. If it was at the bottom it would interfere with signatures (crowded) and if it was at the top, it would interfere with the above post (crowded).

Use the book idea. Keep it out of the way. I don't really care to know anybody's in-game info. Or Option 1, since I don't look at signatures anyway.

The book should be a gurushop item
and its customizable for what it looks like
The cat calls dibs on the first DevCat book
but anyway before we go to that step
it doesn't have to be a book
it can be something simple like a
"See Character Info" button
the book is merely something that's a nice thing to have

I say option two or three.
Option one I think would just make it look like we all have ridiculously huge signatures.
Since some of us already have rather large signatures.
Option three, though, kinda depends on how it's organized.

Option Two.
Due to the fact that signatures start after the left column ends, it'd be best to stretch the post content itself, so that the entire body of the post isn't stretched even further than it already is.
Looking at Xiya, I honestly think this is a pretty good option. It saves the most space, and no one is really going to complain about its position.

Eh, just as long as we can leave the character slot blank without it screwing up anything, since I (more or less) main 3 chars.

Option 3 here.
