I expect a "Hi" back. Or even a "Yeah?/Can I help you?". Not "o-o".
If someone random on my buddy list said hi to me, and they haven't talked to me in a while or something, I would say "o-o", or occasionally "Hi". Saying, "Yeah" or "Can I help you?" actually makes you sound annoyed.

I'd still rather that than "o-o". That means nothing at all.
It's a game. You'd have to assume some people are going to try and talk to you for SOMETHING. Acting so completely shocked is retarded.

It's not shocked. It's more like, "Huh? What do you want?".

To me, o-o expresses, "I haven't seen you in a while, why are you talking to me all of a sudden," or "something big must be going on for you to message me," all in a single emote. Differs from person to person I suppose :what:

Yeah, a face like that in an online game expresses about as much as a sentence if you know the person.

I delete someone off my Friends List (as we don't talk, hang out or anything anymore for X amount of time), then when I bump into them, they ask why I deleted them.
I hate deleting people but it's harder to view friends I actually talk to often and the list eventually becomes full..

I dislike accidentally closing my advertising party when running dungeons (aka Ciar at my level) while waiting for notes or something.
There's probably some easy way to stop it that I am unaware of, but oh well.

People who leave their Party Sign up in a dungeon. I know I could just use CTRL+P, but I wish I'd not need to.
