No. Elves need to learn that humans are Mabis archers. Devcat's finally showing them this by having you fall behind in dex. :D
I don't care about dex lol. I want the str.

Fracture, in that other thread you practically jumped me when I posted something negative regarding Human ranged combat. It's pretty obvious that you rage hard against Elven Archers but I was specifically referring to the Human Archer's ability to compete with similar-level Human builds as well as its versatility.
You have the highest damaging attack in game, your the only class that can get 100% protection, you can have allied humans ride on your shoulder, you can equips shields with 2handed's, you get infinite attack with Down attack and Knuckles, you have easier wm training. Do I need to go?
Revised: No. Elves need to learn that giants are Mabi's warriors. Devcat's finally showing them this by having you fall behind in str. :D
You think they're only falling behind just now? Pay attention. I just want buffs, I couldn't careless how much str giants get lol.
Yeah, wasn't fully revised, but it gets the point across. If you want all the lovely new melee stuff that's coming out-- you should've been giant or human. While you can come pretty close to them, fact is that elves weren't designed for melee, so you won't get all the things that come out for it.
And just playing a char type "cause that's how it's supposed to be played" is a waste of time if it's not fun.
Anyway, my point is that the appeal of mabi is the versatility available to pretty much all chars. I'm not gonna go start a new char just for a small buff in a combat type.... if you want such set classes, this isn't the game to be playing. Tbh I'd be fine if the only difference between races was looks.
lances look lame and not that efficient in killing..
Depend on the usage you have for them. I can say they can kill just right used in the right way. Lance charge > Smash (hopefully on a wall nearby) > WM work wonder for me.
But I hate them for solo play...a mistake and I'm pretty much dead.
That was totally luck on my side imo. The monster looked like it stopped attacking for a split second. And I tried soloing rabbie today...andwell once the monster get inside my "can't attack" range i'm pretty much dead.
Especially those skeleton that decide to be mean and not attack when I load counter (since they looked ready to hit me) then hit me as soon as counter go poof.
