Rare colors

Is there any way that I can easily tell what colors are rare for particular articles of clothing?

Are the colors' rarity listed somewhere? Or are there certain colors that are rare for ALL sets?

I'm just wondering cause I have absolutely no idea, I just dye to get certain colors I want and probably have passed over rare colors a few times already. I'd choose to sell the item if I knew I got a rare color with it.

Rare colors doesn't really matter, in my opinion, since Fixed Dyes and Dye price drops have been able to make any color achieve-able.

A "rare" color could be a flashy, but that's with a fixed Dye...

In my personal opinion, White is a good color, but only a pure while will do =)

White is great, but unfortunately in Vindictus it doesn't appear at all on a lot of palettes for armor. =(

I don't know many rare colors, but I know that it's incredibly rare to attain white 'cloth' upon Blood Prince leggings, aside from that, I don't know.

I really wish there was a palette list for every piece of armor, but that's wishful thinking.

But, no. D: We don't have a list like that, unfortunately. It would be nice, because I would love to know if certain colors would be available for certain armors. T_T; If not, then I could quit wasting my money (though I waste it anyways because I know that they're available and I want them!).

Rare colors would be the ones that you don't see very often. For example, I would deduce that gold blood prince armor is fairly rare.

Oh how I wish there was a list of colors for armors. I always wonder if I am able to get that color so I don't dye until I see someone with the color I want lol.

Check the market place, it shows the colors of all equipable items listed.

Then you can browse through which are less common than others.

Yeah I do that for old armors. The thing is I'm trying to see what is rare on Rose Drop, but only like 6 items are listed, so I can't really tell. I have a black Rose Drop top, and when I checked there were no blacks listed, but I wouldn't assume its rare just because of this... its probably just CHANCE that out of the 6 listed, there were no black.

I really wish there was a cloth dye list too.

So according to you guys, White anything is usually rare (aside from obvious things like sweetie bear)?

edit: What was Chihaya talking about? Is that from the Korean version? Fixed dye?

White most cloth is rare.

Sweetie bear, heavier/lighter red tyrant, and anything metal will most likely be white.

Also, I'd consider black rose drop a rare color. But colors don't work in vindi like they do in mabi where a good color can multiply the worth by up to 50 times. You'll prolly get 20-50k extra for having a rare color on the market board.

Well, from personal experience, a gold crimson rage set seems pretty rare to me since I dont see one in the marketplace as of right now. I don't know if any other armor sets come in gold though.

I'd imagine you don't see any because when people get black they are happy with it, or if they DO put it on the marketplace, it is bought rather quickly. I have a shade of green for my top right now, and I'm not happy. :gloom:

After a bit of dyeing to get my spider lord's cloth parts to match each other, I got a bronze-colored metal. I assume it's a rare color since I haven't seen anyone wearing it when I do my Hidden runs.
