I have to make a weapon out of a gnoll chieftan hammer from "Decisive Battle" or Kristie will not tell me where the bear is, therefore, I will not be able to do the mission "Dethrone the White Tyrant" in Hoarfrost Hollow. How exactly do I make a weapon out of the hammer?

Go to Brynn with the hammer and you can use it for the staff recipe.

That's only if you're an Evy. If you're a Fiona, you gotta make Sword of Salvation. If you're a Lann, you gotta make Skyfrost Twin Swords.
