  Well honestly, it does endanger our troops and hurt our relations with other countries. So, it is a threat to national security. They are in fact terrorists.
  
  It's in the guise of freedom of speech, but there are some things that just really don't need disclosed to the public and are better left not. I mean, it's basically the same thing as stealing a company's work (let's say, Google's proprietary source code - or something else) and then distributing it for free for all the world in the name of freedom.
  
  I mean, they are stealing the information and theft is a crime, and what they're doing is espionage. Worse than that, it's treason (acts of betrayal of one's sovereign or nation) if any of the members are from any of the respective countries! And I don't know about other countries, but here... it's punishable by death.
  
  But, our country is starting to label people who download music or movies and people who watch anime as terrorists. It's really going too far. They're even taking over the internet and shutting down websites... I mean, this is America, we're supposed to be the rest of the world's example of freedom and democracy... what is this crap?
  
  What's worse is the way they're letting TSA abuse us. They're pushing too hard on us, and we need to push back.
  
  I don't support what WikiLeaks is doing because they could have much more tact in what they release, as actual news companies do, but they very seriously damage our country's diplomatic efforts with other countries and endanger our military. Hell, China and Russia both pulled out of accepting the US Dollar!
  
  So anyways, I don't support them. But, the government needs to be pushed back a bit and put in its place with all they're doing. Too many corrupt or stupid politicians. So, I don't mind.
  
  I also think it's stupid the way they're going about striking back at them... I mean really, some obscure rape charges against their founder? Really? If they want to charge him for a crime, they should charge him for a real crime, not pay and/or threaten a couple girls to make up some bull**** to get back at him and ruin his life.

  The government and the whole system of countries is bull**** to begin with. So being a traitor, espionage and all that junk is completely invalid to me.
  The only documents I don't agree with is the locations of troops, but that's a small percentage of the documents. If those were removed I wouldn't have cared.
  Like I said in another thread the wikileaks ****storm only started when politicians got stuff leaked about them, but when the troops were put in danger not much happened except people expressing their disapproval.
  
  If nothing else, that situation alone is reason enough to validate this "war", I don't think the hacking/DDoS is going after the right targets, but it is getting the message across so I still approve.

  The worst part of it is, it's not WikiLeaks doing any of that at all... it's Anonymous and Operation: Payback, but people are always going to associate it as WikiLeaks doing it. Which, is kinda sad. Heck, even the OP did it...

  Even if they're "stealing", and its "wrong", what they're revealing our major companies or governments are doing is just as wrong, if anything a severe case of treason themselves.
  
  I don't advocate what they're doing, but I don't dislike it either. They world needs to know that they can't hold back information from the age of networking.

  I wonder if people will join in with wiki-leaks after this incident. I mean taking down pay-pal, visa, and other banking sites, did nothing to the government. In fact all it did was hit the people who uses them. I was reading on another forum about this, and it might have backfire, from the fact that people use them on a daily basis, and it either cause a annoyance or worst. This might have pissed people off to favor the government more so than wiki-leaks, and anon. The government lost nothing, and it's people were the one that took the hit.
  
  Real kicker is that no one fighting for the freedom of speech right now, well besides wiki-leaks. It has become now, you either with us or against us, faze right now.

  Nor do i want dead troops
  If the fall out this leads to dead troops or lose of life or similar it will be a uproar among the people
