Ice Spear Rafting

Can anybody give me some tips on how to do this sufficiently?

The decrease in range with IS compared to Thunder makes it alot easier for me to get and killed and stuff ._.

One charges for non-warriors, two charges for warriors. If you have time to sit around, you can try 5 charges, maybe.

Yea, rafting is A LOT easier with Thunder than IS.

1) IS doesn't need damage upgrades to OHKO. -MP Usage is better.
2) Spam? It's OHKO. You "spam" it just as much as you "spam" Thunder.
3) Failed IS chains? If you're relying on chains you're doing it wrong.

Yes, you spam like Thunder, but the biggest difference is you have to put yourself close to the target to spam.

You say it is OHKO, but don't understand the concept of failed IS chains coming from OHKO? You haven't used Ice Spear in rafting in awhile have you?

Also, the ice barrier seems to mess up IS a lot more than Thunder since you can hit the casters with Thunder much earlier.

Second point, you shouldn't be chaining anything at all. You second IS is shot before your first IS explodes. Hence why I said "if you're relying on chains you're doing it wrong."

First and Third points have nothing to do with what I said.
