It seems whenever I transform (Infra) AR feels so much faster then it does when I'm untransed. I'm using the same bow (An Ego LLB) which makes me think that Drk's get a speed boost in range or something. Atleast for AR.
So do they?

Nope, they don't.

They dont. You're either seeing things, or you are in the momment where everything feels sped up.

Its called "positive effect". A psychological effect that makes incorrect correlational conclusions. When you see that nice damage boost and some big numbers from the crits your brain makes other positive assumptions that are incorrect. I feel the same way when I trans and have over 1400 mana. All my magics feel faster.
The only legit possiblilty is that your computer processes your particular trans better than it does your normal character which would lower any visual lag you might have. Making it, in fact, faster.

Does it work in the opposite way as well?

Yes it works the opposite way. Its part of the reason depression is a downward spiral and being positive leads to success. Laughter is catching you often hear and observe.
The way the brain associates things in order to better interpret the world for survival often makes us see things differently than reality. You can condition yourself for either result.
A visual way to see this is the charlie chaplan illusion. Your looking at the inside of a mask but your brain refuses to let you see the inverted face.

Wings are ALWAYS one of the most probable sources of lag during transformation.
It's really bad on Falcon Sages.

Yes. That's one of the reasons presentation is so important for, for instance, food. It might be lasagna, but if it looks like it was shat on your plate you'll probably find it tastes worse. Compare that to if it's the same lasagna, but served looking like the most heavenly food on earth. You'll enjoy it more.
