Depends on what you're talking about. The Shot of God most people know of is the out of range mag shot on youtube vids. That does not exist imo. Its based on pure luck that they make those shots. As for in range SoG, I believe it does. I'm able to shoot consistently between 30-99% (depending on my distance) by using the animations of my character to determine when to shoot, not my aim percentage. In other words, I can shoot consistent without aiming. This is based off of my elf, I have not tried it with my human range.

It does, but the chances of you actually pulling it off correctly are infinitely lower than most people would like you to believe. Most instances of SoG mid-combat are just luck, since as long as you're in range there will always be a chance to hit.
You can test it yourself by endlessly spamming magnum or range in Rano, eventually you'll be surprised at a crit magnum landing successfully all the way across the field.

There's a theory that "out of range" percentage of 0% simply does not exist, but rather instead of 0%, it's 0.01%.
Or something.
I don't believe in SoG as of now. People who say there's proof of SoG don't show the evidence or even explain their evidence in a way that non-code savvy people know.

I believe it requires more luck to "SoG" out of range then it does in range. Out of range you have such a minimal chance of hitting that its kind of pointless in trying. In range, I can shoot 5-6 shots, both mag and regular range, in a row before missing, whereas i could miss 3-4 times in a row at 82%(full aim at mob running for elves).-basing off of elven range, not human-

It requires the same amount of luck and attempts to SoG either in range or outside of range, what I meant to say was that most of the instances of not missing that are attributed to "SoG" during combat are just the chance you'd normally have of not missing and your own luck at play.

Well what I was saying is that I miss more when I actually wait til its at 82% rather then "SoGing." Which is why I stated what I said.

The times you do miss at 80~90% are far more memorable than missing at 30~50%, so you might be experiencing both but one comes to mind more prominently than the other. Besides, lag and rubberbanding can also cause incorrect aim meters so we end up shooting with lower accuracy than intended, not to mention that mabi's RNG can just be mean sometimes and let you miss 8 times at a row, even with a 90% aim cap.

it got patched in G10 and only lagless people could do it properly

SoG was never patched. The game would need serious recoding to fix such a huge bug. As for out-of-range being 0.1 or "just luck", seeing someone who actually practices it will show you otherwise. Some rangers, pathetic as it is, spend their time doing nothing but shooting from outside range. They get good at it, but it's still a coward's tactic.
