Thunder Pages and Frequentcy of Drop

  You might not be able to afford buying Thunder, but you are most certainly able to sustain it once you do have it.
  
  In fact, one of my friends recently started playing on Alexina and we helped her get Thunder since she didn't have the money to buy it, having just joined the server and all... It was the only skill she ranked (r2 now with double rainbow help) along with Magic Mastery and the music skills, now she can raft for Mana Herbs as well as other profitable items such as Iron Ingots and Tipping Suits thanks to it, she was even able to buy her own Glowing Gargoyle statue and take care of all her other needs with just the Thunder skill.

  Point taken. Though I am certain that I can handle the cost of a wand, a Crystal Lightning Wand at that. It is only 9000 gold higher than the basic Lightning Wand. This will be an expensive item for me for sure, but in no way kills my bank account. The problem is the pages, which I have seen go from 150,000, up above 200,000 and one close to 500,000 on the house board (If I remember the prices correctly). Yes the MP pots might pose a gold drain as well, but I don't foresee that as near a financial problem as forking out the 'Moo-la' for the pages would.
  Though I stress again, I am not intending to buy the pages I need....just yet. I want to hunt for them in the appropriate manner.

  For 100~200k you can farm. The Crystal Wand can be found in Hch and shops in Dunb for less (sometimes even 15k) and they might even have higher dura than the one from NPC's. Btw, since you're just starting, I would recommend a normal lighting wand upgraded for -MP consumption. That's unless you want to spam Thunder in the river... in which case the Crystal one would be fine 'cause you don't really need much damage.
